I actually lost too much weight for my mermaid dress that I’m wearing for the February wedding.  Over the holidays I tried it on and I lost a lot of my curves so I was given the green light to gain back 5-8lbs between now and Feb 1st.

@Aquaria:  LOL. I don’t try, or want to,  but I definitely indulge more!  I think my cheese and chocolate intake increases about 45% from summer to winter!

HAHAHAHAHAH! I have put on winter weight, unintentionally. the logic you have is perfect. I think it’s very unhealthy to go totally crazy, especially to gain a large amount, but these 5-10 pounds aren’t going to kill me.

@Aquaria:  That’s freaking awesome. I don’t purposely try to gain weight, but I do purposely eat as much junk as possible, so…

trying on my wedding dress yesterday was frightening!

No. I actually put on summer weight from being home all summer & stating up late snacking.

I’m starting a strict diet tomorrow though cuz I never lost my summer pounds & put a few more on due to holiday snacking.

I definitely don’t try to put it on but I do! I usually gain some weight around the holidays and then I continue eating warm comfort food during the winter.

@Aquaria:  To be honest, I’ve never really watched my weight that closely. I’ve never gone over 125 pounds, even when I try to, so I guess there’s really no point, haha. But my eating patterns don’t change during the holidays, I still eat like shit the rest of the 10 months of the year. 😛

I don’t *purposefully* put on winter weight – I just always do. I gain about 5-10lbs every winter, and then lose it by March or so. It happens every year, since I was 12. I don’t really like it, but I do think it’s a little bit funny.

Oh no, I would never purposely beef up, I’m already fat enough as is!

@Aquaria:  Haha, you’re fun! 🙂 I wish I could have your relaxed attitude. I definitely put on winter weight but it’s not intentional – I blame Christmas and all the delicious food I just can’t say no to! lol

I’ve gained 5 pounds over the holidays, but it definitely wasnt intentional. If anything it motivates me to kick my butt into high gear and start exercising more.

I most certainly put on winter weight. Not intentionally…it seems like it just “happens!” I just ate a giant piece of chocolate cream pie. No guilt whatsoever. 😉

I don’t put on weight on purpose, but I tend to round out a bit naturally during this time of year, what with all the merry-making. It doesn’t concern me and I think the alternative (depriving oneself during a time for festivities) would be much sadder. And hey, hopefully it helps keep out some of the cold. I’m not a fan of feeling cold at all.
