I’m not carrying one. My ceremony and reception are also in the same place and realistically, I just can’t see myself actually carrying it around…it would probably sit on a table or something for most of the night.

Im changing venues so I have one.  But if I wasnt, I wouldnt have purchased one.  I read on here some brides would leave it in a nicer clutch they already own and keep it under their table.  It really isnt necessary.

I am giving my ID (always have it with me wherever I go) to my loving groom, what do you think the jacket pockets are for? For my stuff ! LOL

I didn’t carry a clutch and have never seen a bride carrying a clutch. How would you hold it?

One of my bridesmaids looked after the emergency makeup, and gave me a lipstick touchup during the photos (which were after the ceremony but before the reception). I’m not sure how she carried it, but I think she must have gotten her husband to carry it, at least until we were seated at the reception. Another alternative would be the suit pockets of the groom or a groomsman,

I will be using one, mostly for bobby pins, lipstick, hotel key.

I will leave it in the limo during the ceremony, and bring it back and set it on the table when we return during cocktail hour.

I am having my reception at a different location and I do not plan on carrying a clutch. My Maid/Matron of Honor can have my lipstick in her purse for me.

I had one, and gave it to a friend to take care of.  She put it behind the the head table in the reception.  You don’t want to be running up to your romm to touch up your makeup or to get an extra bobby-pin.

I changed venues and still didn’t carry one.  Mostly I was overwhelmed by the time I was ready to take care of those details, but mostly eveyone else kept my stuff.  I did have a large bag for everything, but nothing “pretty” that was part of my outfit.

I didn’t use one. Our venue had a small room upstairs where I could keep all my things. It worked out fine!

I didn’t use on either. I just went to the room where we got ready to freshen up & had my bag in there.

I have one and plan to put my room key, lipstick, blotting papers, safety pins, etc. in it.  My mom will hold it during the ceremony.  But no, I probably don’t need it….or most of the other things I have purchased for the wedding 😮

I didn’t have one, and I didn’t need it. I gave a few things to my BM’s to carry for me (lip gloss, my phone, etc), but I never ended up asking them for it. I had also considered having a little box of stuff I might need under our table, which I think would be another great alternative.
