I have removed the links you posted in your original post.  Please do not link to others’ threads, as your comments would constitute personal attacks on those posters!

@Belle Lamour – Please don’t let this bug you!!!!!! And don’t feel like you have to justify your wedding to anyone.

This thread is insane. What is going on here today??

Hmmm… why don’t you live your life the way you want to, and I’ll live mine the way I SEE FIT.

Thanks.

Very well said, lilyfaith. We all pretty much just have to agree to disagree.

We are all very different. We all have different beliefs. Being a vegetarian is great but not for everybody. You can not judge another person for what they do. We all have our reasons and we all come from different backgrounds. I think above all the most important thing in life is respecting other people and their personal choices. Otherwise you just cause conflict where there does not need to be any.

Am I the only one who finds this hysterical?

You go ahead and enjoy your dandelion wine and sexy chutneys…I”ll stick to my delicious pan seared steaks and cold, metallic appliances. To each their own! But I hope you can read this through all the stars in your eyes…

The IP addresses of several of the commenters match the IP of the original poster of the thread… it may be a coincidence, but I thought I’d mention it here.

You know, I was actually buying all this until I got to this part:

Sexy, organic chutneys made by a dear friend with fiery red hair, called Magda

LMAO WHAT, YOU MUST BE JOKING, RIGHT? Right? Please, please tell me you are.

And you made Belle Lamour feel bad by pointing out her posts, and that to me is awful, because she is SO sweet and SO helpful. Shame on you for judging her, me, other people who commented on those posts, and all the rest of the brides on here.

hilsy- I also think this is hilarious!

Since this person feels “so good knowing I am being responsible for our Planet’s fate” the rest of should be fine eating disgusting meat and sitting in our kitchens full of cold, metallic appliances!

All jokes aside, please go ahead and live your life the way you see fit and I will go ahead and live my life the way I see fit!

To the person creating all the accounts from the same IP: I can see all of your IPs.  You don’t need to carry on with the charade.

Please find another site to mess around with… we’re not big fans here of fake accounts that pick fake fights with each other.

I think it’s easy to be caught-up in the “you must have this or that or you’re not serious about getting married” vibe of weddings.

Whether you are interested in picking and choosing your dishware and linens or being very eco-conscious, remember this is a happy occassion because it’s your marriage that’s important.

I think you should remember the environment and find ways to be “green,” but if you care about china and bath towels please dive in and have fun!  Some people want to travel while others want the latest technologies; some go to the theatre while others shop at Neiman Marcus.  It’s your taste, spend it as you want so long as you’re within your means.

Again, tempering personal wants with being earth conscious and taking a look at from where things originate is very important so as not to be swept up in consumerism and a myopic “self” standpoint.

Belle Lamour, enjoy your registry!  I’m going to nitpick my sheets and Mr. Kibitz will agonize over cookware, so you’re not alone!

Mr Bee – Is it just me or are there a lot of people with new accounts stirring stuff up around here the past couple days? What the heck is going on?!

I am always so sad to see this kind of negativity on Weddingbee.  If you don’t have anything nice to say, perhaps you should say nothing at all Ms. Butterflies

Ms. Butterflies obviously created her account and this posting to cause drama.  I think we should just ignore her and deprive her of the attention she so seems to lack in her real life and move on with our wedding planning.

and I concur with Glamglam, shame on you for trying to tear others down just to make yourself feel better.  That isn’t very positive or full of sweetness and light, now is it?

The thing I find most concerning about this post is that all of the guest will be walking around in the soil without shoes.   This is a great way for all of your guests to get worms!  Strongyloides stercoralis is a helminth found in the soil, and it enters the body through foot.  And as much as your guests want to commune with the earth, I don’t think this is a favor they would want to take home!

Yes, I’d like to thank the original poster for the laugh. And to tell her or him, or the IP address (it), that I see your point. Minus the insulting links to others’ threads, quite entertaining.

And as for the rest of us–we’re all doing the best we can! And we’ll all have beautiful weddings to celebrate LOVE!
