No. The contract you sign with them is their invite.

No. They have a business contract with you that requires them to show up on said day and time. That said, your photographer may ask for one to photograph, but they aren;t your guests so they don;t need them for that reason.

We sent invites to our vendors. I asked my photog about it and she said she gets them from about half the couples she shoots weddings for. I know some photographers like to have them so they can bring them along and include them in detail photos.

The ones I have a personal connection with, yes.  My reception coordinator, DJ, and baker are all “friendors.”  The rest…not sure.

I sent one to my coordinator and then saved one to hand deliver to my photog for detail shots.

No way. Invites are expensive and time consuming. They’re not coming as guests (unless they’re friendors of course!). I did however make sure of their meal preferences, but not via an official wedding invitation.

No. I would think that if you did that, you would be inviting them to have a sit-down dinner with you (like you may want to do for, say, your officiant if you know them well). Otherwise, your vendors are people that you have hired, not guests.

Maybe show one as part of your inspiration?  There is no need to send one.  A contract is enough for them to show up for a client.

I tried voting ‘no’ but the bee doesn’t want me to vote ….

Unless their a friendor, vendors will not be getting invites from us! They’re not cheap 🙂
