I was talking to a friend over the phone the other day (she’s 30 and just had her second child) she was telling me about how her husband is upset with her because she hasn’t sent him any dirty pictures since she got pregnant the second time. I have NEVER sent dirty pictures to anyone. Not because I’m a prude, just because in high school a girl sent a dirty pic to her bf who promptly then forwarded it to his friends and by the next day everyone had it.
I was shocked she sent her hubby pictures (she’s pretty conservative) and it made me think of how many other women do/don’t do this. My Darling Husband never asked, but even if he did I never would.

Surprise! I have! I feel like the slut on the WB. Only to my hubby though.

I do. Sometimes Fiance asks me to and sometimes I surprise him. He has an iPhone so he made it passcode protected (I know the code), and to where when someone sends him a text or picture, instead of showing what it says, it will just say “text”. Lol he loves them and I don’t mind doing it. I might add, I don’t send pics of anything below the waist. 🙂

Only once, but as a surprise. We live together now so I don’t really see the point.

I used to – but he leaves his phone everywhere, so I got nervous. Then there was the time he made the image of my cleavage (luckily no nips!) his background, and his dad picked it up and opened it. I wanted to kill him. That was the end of that!

I made a rule when I was in highschool and stick by it today. Never leave any evidence that can ruin my future political aspirations. No photos, videos, anything that could ever get into the hands of anyone else.
I may be a stick in the mud, but I never have to see the look on my father’s face when he opens an email from my Darling Husband and discovers that one of his friends borrows his phone and sent a pic of me to his entire mailing list (which happened to one of my friends in college).

No, but I’ve thought about it when he goes away on trips- the majority of the time he’s either with his friends, with me or at work.. I’d want it to be a cute surprise & not have to warn him, so I just don’t wanna run the risk of him opening it in front of anyone. I was just wondering the other day if this is a common thing for couples to do after they’re married…

I do sometimes, but like PPS, he has a locked Blackberry so I know there’s no risk of someone else opening it. I always delete them from my phone as soon as I take them, though, because I’m always paranoid I’ll lose my phone or something and someone will see me- haha.

THIS. I couldn’t find a way to put it within seeming like a prude, but I think you hit the nail on the head.

haha my fiance used to ask for nudie pics and I’d find awful pics of fat ugly doods and send them to him.
Now he asks specifically for ‘nudies of you and no one else’ and I oblige. It doesn’t bug me, I used to shower with boys in the ‘unisex bathroom’ at race tracks after races-so it would seem silly not to let the man I’m going to be with forever see my junk on his phone =)

Part of my job involves social media. I’ve seen private things made public too many times to do anything like what has been described.
It might sound paranoid, but privacy doesn’t exist when it comes to cell phones and email accounts.

@CanAmBride:
I totally respect your stance on this, it’s extremely wise! You have my vote whenever you run for office =D
