Did anyone see the episode of the Real Housewives of New Jersey when one of the ladies said she shaves her whole face everyday in the shower? I don’t think she was kidding lol

my mom bleaches hers with some sort of facial hair bleach from the drug store – she never gets the prickles but the hairs become unnoticable because they’re so fair!  she does this about 4-6 times a year…

Used to bleach or wax, finally went for laser.

    Shaving … don’t do it!

I either tweeze them or wax them …. I never even consider shaving the hair on my face!

LOL I dont know why, but I cracked up at the “Only on special occasions” option hehehe

I had some form of laser hair removal on my face and she told me I had to shave the area before I came back for my 2nd treatment….I was like…um, really? But she gave me this little instrument that is essentially shaving, but you dont use water or shaving cream. Its like a little sander (dont know if that makes sense)

Anyways, I used it once and my hair grew back barely noticeable

I wax them every 2 months or so. I’ve also tweexed if I noticea stray or two. I’ve never shaved.

I don’t have very much hair on my face, but I use the Sally Hansen hair removal cream to get rid of it if it starts bothering me. It’s quick and easy, and I only have to do it every couple of months!

I don’t have any facial hair at all that I need to be worried about like that.

I do have two hairs that grow on my jaw line just under my left ear.  And they grow quite fast.  But I keep them under control easily with tweezers.

I’ll get it waxed or use hair removal cream, but if I’m running out the door and notice that it’s getting a bit bad, I might shave it quickly. I know that’s bad, though.

I’m going to try threading next.

My friend used to wax or use cream (removal and bleach), then she switched to getting laser removal. She still needs to use removal cream once in awhile but it’s not near as bad.

My mom got me something like one of these: http://www.walgreens.com/store/catalog/Hair-Removal/Super-Groom-Precision-Hair-Trimmer/ID=prod1354519-product (Thanks mom….) before that she got me sally hanssen bleach.

i prefer the trimmer. it’s easy and i don’t think the hair grows back any more noticeable than it did before i used it (it was noticeable then. thus the “gift” from my mother–it’s kinda nice though).  I said “yes” in the poll but now i’m not sure this qualifies as “shaving” per se.

For the record I have shaved my lip area.  And no it doesn’t grow back thicker &/or faster.  This is an old wives tale.  Think of it this way.  Most men shave their faces, how thick and fast does it grow?  And has it increased each time they have shaved?  If it were true the men of this world should have majorly thick facial hair.

Think of all the ladies shavers that have been sold over the years, we should have some pretty hairy women walking around too.  Funny enough, my mom who has shaved her body hair all her life, her hair is thinning/barely noticable and she is 60.

Okay I’m off my soap box now. Sealed
