Do you sleep best alone or with your SO?
One thing me and hubster fight about is bedspace – he’s a cuddler, I wake up early and want my space. I sleep better when I can spread out and don’t have someone else there to wake me up. We’re in a queen sized mattress.

haha he sounds like Darling Husband. We start out cuddling then he does this deep sigh thing and I roll on my tummy. We fight about the covers so we have a quilt &a blanket so each gets something. You would think that I sleep better without him, but I’m used to him now and if he’s not there I wake up looking for him lol.

I sleep best when hes with me,
I probably sound lame, But I get creeped out at night by myself, plus the bed is soo much colder. Luckily we’re both big cuddlers! It works out good 🙂

I sleep way better with him because I’m afraid of the dark. If my Fiance isn’t there, I have to have my dog with me to cuddle.

Definitely sleep better with my Darling Husband. I sleep pretty good alone too, but I highly prefer he be there. I fall asleep much more easily and comfortably when he’s there holding me 🙂

Darling Husband and I cuddle before sleeping. We can’t sleep hugging each other – too hot, sometimes he’s restless, I’m a light sleeper.
That said, we both can sleep alone no problem. As it is, I’m out like a light on a comfortable surface or in a comfortable position.

It’s too quiet if he’s not sleeping next to me! Haha, I know many of us complain about snoring SOs, but I’m so used to it that it’s so disconcerting to be in silence. Then again, my dog also snores loudly, but I guess I’m used to it in stereo.
Aside from that, I just love sleeping next to him.

@HisMoon: I’m not sure I could handle that. DH grinds his teeth, normally only when he’s falling asleep, but I wake him up everytime and tell him to stop. Of course, I’d like to think I’m saving his teeth, too…

I sleep better alone actually. He snores and thrashes around in his sleep!

There’s pros and cons. Generally I sleep best with him there, just ’cause I’m used to it. But on the occasions where I sleep alone (he’s away or I am) I usually have a tough time falling asleep, but then sleep a little deeper with no one else moving around.
The biggest issue is if I have nightmares, which I have on an extremely frequent basis. Multiple really disturbing nightmares a week, sometimes. He’s very sweet and helpful when one strikes. If I’m alone for them, my whole night gets fouled up and I’m awake for a lot of it. Much easier and more pleasant to deal with when he’s there to ground me in reality.

@Pinkmoon: I hear you on that. HAAATE the sound of loud snoring. But the nights he doesn’t snore so bad are awesome.

I sleep best in my own bed, but if my Darling Husband is actually in the house. I can’t sleep if i’m being touched, if there’s light, sound, or movement.
I basically suck at sleeping.
If I could build a sleeping closet that I could totally close off from light and noise, I totally would.

I sleep well alone and with him, but we really aren’t social sleepers and I sleep well pretty much every night, despite circumstances. Fiance, on the other hand, has a hard time sleeping when I’m not there. It’s sweet.

@crayfish: This idea makes me itch with claustrophobia, but I get it – ideally it would be silent and dark with no movement.

@Bebealways: i have this issue with nightmares too!! Extremely frightening ones and 3
or 4 a week. What is with that?!
Defo better off with SO about even with the snores and other noises 🙂
