It feels like it takes me forever to fall asleep if FH isn’t around. X

Yup!  We’re apart all the time, so I’m used to going back and forth between having him there and not.

I too sleep horrible when my fiance is gone. He is actually gone for three weeks! only one week down. Also when he is gone I am so lonely and the house seems to quiet!

Nope. And we’re long distance almost all through the year now, so I don’t get a very good night’s sleep except a few weeks out of the year.

I definietly sleep worse when FireCapt isn’t home.  Which isn’t an especially good thing since he’s gone every third night.  Oh well..he’s worth a few nights of restless sleep.

Dh works night shift a lot so I’m used to sleeping alone. I take it as an opportunity to spread out starfish without kicking anybody.

Not well at all, and if it’s over a weekend I won’t stay home alone. My husband’s father is getting re-married right after school starts this year and it’s a new job, so I can’t take off. My husband is considering going for the weekend and I’m really sad at the prospect of staying home alone without him.

It depends. If he’s not in the apartment (like out of town) I don’t sleep well – takes forever to fall asleep. If he’s in the apartment and just in his study doing work or something, I can fall asleep fine because he’s here with me, even though he’s not in the bed.

My husband works night shift & has for pretty much the entire three years he has been working at his job. So I am use to it. But I must add I love it on the weekends when he has off work & we can sleep together! BLISS!!!!!!!!

Absolutely. I always go to bed before Fiance does and he has this bad habit of falling asleep downstairs in front of the TV. When this happens, I wake up (like clockwork!) in the middle of the night because he’s not there and go wake him to come to bed. I think it’s because he always snuggles with me when he does come to bed so my body must know when I don’t get the snuggles and wakes me up!

Hell no!

We’re LDR at the moment and I sleep so bad.  Although the extra space in bed is nice as he has a tendancy to follow me around the bed…

@KallahinBaltimore:  I miss SO’s snoring, even if it did wake me from time to time.

@RhubarbPie:  Totally agree with this!!  But I tend to wake up after a few hours if he’s not beside me, then freak out if he’s still up working/gaming and not in bed.
