I’d prefer not to take it off ever but I used to at bedtime. I don’t find it uncomfortable to sleep with, I don’t scratch my SO/myself, but I used to take it off for bed/ washing dishes/showering because 1. I’m obsessed with cleaning it and I notice it gets more dirty when I sleep with it/ get it wet. 2. I used to be worried about damaging the prongs but I got a backup gemstone when I bought the stone that’s in it now and I like the backup stone better so I’ve started sleeping with my ring on because if anything happens to the stone I can use the backup one and it’s like I get a whole new ring, yippee!

My ring is ornate filigree though so if I leave it on when making pasta e.g. I’d have to spend aaaaages cleaning all the gunk out of it. That said, if I travel I don’t take it off because I’m more likely to lose it than damage it…

I wear my wedding band 24/7, but my e-ring comes off right before bed, and I put it back on after my shower in the morning. I have a mirror tray on my chest of drawers with a bunch of Cracker Barrell peacock jewelry holders, and all my jewelry (except my band) goes on those every night. I did try sleeping with my e-ring when we first got engaged, but I worried about knocking/damaging the ring or scratching DH, so I ended up with my current routine.

i was blessed with a 3 carat high set solitaire and only take it off to shower and clean.  I told Fiance that I would get a “stunt double” for work (I run a machine shop) but he said “BS enjoy your ring baby, it’s insured”

I only take mine off when I put lotion on or am using my hands to do something messy. My e-ring sits a little high but not bad. I LOVE my rings and love the way it feels to wear them!

I dont take mine off but I should… I’ve knocked it a few times against the wall when asleep. Eeeeeeep!

I just feel like I take it on & off constantly as I take it off when I work out/hit the gym, when I put lotion on and when I handwash delicate garments. That’s a lot ๐Ÿ™ so impractical, but I love my ring lol

gymbarbie:  definitely not paranoid! There are lots of thefts from gym lockers, it’s very rich pickings for the arseholes that do it. Lots of wallets, watches and jewellery – all small items that can easily be bunged in a gym bag and taken out without looking conspicuous. I would NEVER leave valuable or sentimental items in a locker.

I leave mine on to sleep. I take it off to shower, do dishes or put on lotion.

I wear my rings everywhere except work. I’m a hairdresser. Sleep with them on I only take them off to make meatballs or do hair.

My ring’s low set and I take it off as soon as I come home. I guess I’m in the minority here.

I take mine off when I sleep but I also remove a lot more than other women I guess. Honestly .. I take it off when I walk in the door usually. I love my ring and it’s so special but I never wore rings before so I’m probably not as comfortable as others. My fiancé has poked fun of me but I can’t help it. I wear it everywhere else though ๐Ÿ˜‡

I wouldn’t worry about wearing such a small ring to bed. I take my ff per our jeweler’s instructions, but my ring is almost 3 cts, high quality.

I sleep with my rings on, but they’re not high quality 3 carat rings so….

i barely wear mine. I live alone in a bedroom I rent for about the past 6 months (FI is in the states, im in canada). I dont wear mine to work because its pave and a halo and i dont want it to be ruined and im a waitress so i constanly have my hands in the little glass washer or whatever, or when I bus tables after I serve them. I dont wear mine to sleep either. I rarely where it because everyone knows im engaged (that needs to). I wear it if I go out with friends (im usually home alone lol).

I do plan on wearing it daily when I move back in with my fiance (I GOT MY IMMIGRANT VISA APPROVED <3333 ). Already resigned from my job. But yeah i still wont wear it to bed.

My stone is not set very high, but I still don’t sleep with it. I don’t wear any jewelry to bed. I’m afraid it’ll fall off my finger and get lost in the bed or something. So it stays safely in it’s box at night ๐Ÿ™‚
