Take mine off as soon as I get home! Don’t sleep, shower, or workout in them!!! I have a very detailed, setting that sits high. I’d be worried of snagging and scratching it!!! Haha!!!

I wear mine while sleeping, showering, etc. It’s too pretty to take off and hardy enough to withstand activity. Plus, I wouldn’t want to accidentally lose it!

I keep my ring on to sleep, shower, whatever! The only time I take it off is when my fingers are so swollen it makes it uncomfortable- then I hang it on a necklace.

I don’t take mine off for anything except cleaning it and occasionally if I’m doing something really gross like mixing meat or anything food related with my bare hands.

I never take mine off unless I’m getting dirty in the kitchen….i.e. mixing hamburger meat. Other than that, my ring never leaves my finger.

Mine only comes off when I shower (no p trap in that drain!) and when I am handling raw meat.

blt982:  Me too!  On the rare times I take it off, I have a little ceramic dog figurine on my kitchen window and I hang it on her tail.  If I didn’t wear it all the time, I’m afraid I’d misplace it!

I don’t sleep, shower, clean, or do anything involving soap with my ring on. Though if I’m washing my hands in a public place I don’t take my ring off unless I have a pocket I can put it in. I haven’t done any sewing or embroidery since getting my ring but depending on what I’m working on if it’s likely to catch on things I’d take it off. My ring has a lot of pointy bits that can easily catch fabrics/threads. And I’ve also scratched both myself and my Fiance accidentally, so I have to be a little more careful while cuddling too.

I take mine off to shower, sleep, bathe the dogs, go to the river, etc. I have 6 carats between the three rings and while I love them they can be a PITA.

I asked my husband for a smaller stone and a lower setting because I wanted something that I could wear at work and in daily life without worrying about it. I think its so sad when people have rings they’re not comfortable wearing.

That said, I wear it at work, around home and when I sleep, but I don’t like wearing it in the shower because I feel like it gets soap scum on it, so I take it off right before getting in the shower, keep it on a small dish near the sink, and put it on right after. I’ll take it off for icky things while cooking, but usually just keep it on and wear gloves when doing dishes. For working out: I wear it if I’m just running on the elliptical but have to take it off when I go to pole (otherwise both pole and ring would get scratched). If I’m pole dancing at home I just leave it on the same dish in the bathroom or my nightstand. If I’m at the pole studio I have a small hook on my key ring where I keep them until I’m done.

Dakota2:  I take mine off to shower, sleep, clean and the gym/swim. Have been engaged a couple of months and still paranoid about it! I accidently wore it to the gym the other day and it was slipping round and knocking against the weights.. ANNOYING!

I have ring boxes all over the house – bedroom / bathroom / kitchen so if I need to take it off its safe! Its normally only on when I go out, after I get back from work, I go to the gym and I wont put it on again until I leave the next day.
