Do you sleep with your rings on?

Yes, I sleep with my rings on. I’m always losing things, so it’s just easier. I do remove them to shower, and while applying lotion but those are about the only times they’re removed. The setting is very durable, and the stone is moissanite (though not as hard as diamond, is known to be tougher and easier to keep clean).

Never take them off except to clean them. Sleep, bathe, do horses/dogs etc.

The only piece of jewelry I sleep in is my medical alert bracelet.  I’ve fallen asleep wearing rings before and I always wake up in the middle of the night because they feel too tight.  I don’t even like to wear stud earrings to bed!

My jewelry box is on my nightstand, and I also keep a ringholder on my nightstand, so in case of an emergency it would take about a second to grab my rings.  I even travel with a ringholder or tiny jewelry box to use in hotels or when I’m a houseguest.

Mine is a 1/4 size too big and I’m worried it will fall off in my bed so I take it off to sleep. I also work part time in a factory and take it off when I work there (keep it on for my nursing job). And I take it off to shower because it’s not insured yet and I’m worried it will fall down the drain

I keep mine on when I sleep. I only take it off if I’m working out with weights, making dinner, doing dishes and showering and using strong  cleaning chemicals

sable :  Lol! You sound just like me!! I forgot it when leaving for work the other day & laughed @ myself for turning around to go back & get it!! Glad I’m not the only one!!

My FH knows my jewelry routine since we’ve been living together for almost a year & a half so he doesn’t care that I take it off. He knows I do it bc I treasure it so much 😊

We just got our wedding bands & FH LOVES his. He’s never worn rings of any sort & he’s super excited to wear his ALL the time! Sometimes he gets it out & wears it when he gets home! It’s the cutest freaking thing. He’s just as excited as I am to be married!

I was told that sleeping with an engagement ring on is one of the worst things you can do for it. Reason is due to the prongs allegedly getting caught on fibers, etc. while we toss and turn, which ultimately loosens the prongs prematurely.

bridetobe2018 :  I never take my ring off unless I’m doing messy baking or something like that. I shower with it on and sleep with it.

I don’t sleep with my rings on, unless I’m going someplace where I don’t want to bring valuables (and in that case I just wear a band). I have two wedding sets and my diamond one has been prone to loose prongs. My moissanite one is much more study and has six prongs but I still don’t want to knock it on something when I asleep or scratch my husband. I have a ring holder so I always know where it is; I put my rings on it right before bed.

I very rarely take my ring off. I take it off to clean it and to do really messy chores (like cleaning the grill and gardening). I wear it when I shower, sleep, work out (although I don’t use weights), etc.

geegee31 :  This is ADORABLE. My FI’s ring hasn’t arrived yet, but I can picture him acting like this too. We’ll see. 🙂

I never take my ring off unless it is too loose and I have to put it on another finger for a few hours. I call it my “skinny finger days” and “fat finger days” haha

My ring is 18k rose gold with blue and white diamonds, so it’s fairly sturdy (and I’m notoriously rough on my rings). I take my engagement ring (and the silver/tourmaline one I wear on my right hand) off for showers/baths and heavy cleaning, but otherwise I wear them all the time.
