    I smoked for about 6 months in college and then gave it up. Even at my worst, I probably only smoked 2-3 cigarettes a day. Until probably a year ago I would have a cigarette if I was with my friends from college (so 2-3 times a year). The last time I had one, I took about 3 drags and thought I was going to die. Now I can’t stand the smell of cigarettes.

    @theEguarantee:  same here.

    I’m a very occasional, social cigar smoker. We’re talking maybe one every other month.

    I tried smoking cigarettes, but they make me nauseous followed by a killer migraine.  Not really a great experience IMO.

    Eh…I hate this question. I used to smoke everyday for about 4 years. Never a pack a day or anything like that. I fully quit for 2 years.

    Lately I will still smoke a cigarette if I’m extreamly stressed out or if I’m drinking.

    It’s a waste of money when I do decide to smoke because I’ll buy a pack and end up smoking one or two then throwing it away. I do that because I do not want to pick up the habit full on.

    I grew up around parents that both smoke. So, when I have kids I want to give the right image and I will no longer smoke, ever.

    I have never smoked – just this one time in Greece where this girl had these long skinny pink cigarettes and I adored the way they looked so I bought a pack for my girl friends and I – we each had one… took lots of photos… and proceeded to cough and hack never to be inhaled again.

    I still have the pack in my “memories” box – lol

    I don’t know anyone who smokes in California but Darling Husband knows a lot of smokers in the UK including his dad and best friends… strange how we differ culturally like that.

    I never have in my entire life. Not even trying it once. I seem to suffer from an allergic/asthma reaction when I am around cigarette smoke. I was so happy when states starting making places smoke free. So often I would go out with friends and have to leave because of the smoke. Even if it didn’t give me asthma, prolonged exposure would give me headaches, stuffy nose, coughing, sneezing, red and watery eyes…just miserable.

    Yes, both of my parents smoke, and I started when I was 16.  I was able to hide it from my parents because they smoked in the house so they couldn’t smell it.  I probably smoked about 6 or 7 a day.

    I quit when I was 18 and started back when I was 21, the night I found out my then-FI cheated on me.  I’ve been smoking about a pack a day ever since and I’m 29.  DH also smokes.

    I smoked until I got pregnant. I’m now 29 weeks and would kill for one!

    I do not. I never have. In fact, I find it disgusting.

    My husband used to, but quit when he met me (yes, there was a correlation).

    Someone once shoved a cigarette in my mouth, tasted foul… I’ve tried herbal cigarettes a couple times, not so bad, though they smell like tea before you light them, and then a bit like weed while smoking… Occasional cigar with my dad, hookah fairly often, and I just bought myself an electronic cigarette. So… no. =P

    Never smoked before but I got a great amount of second hand smoke from my parents!! lol!

    I have dreams sometimes that I pick one up and start smoking it… even though I’ve never even puffed one. I also know that if I did, Darling Husband would get so mad. He hates smoking.
