@WillowH: Eh, sometimes I do, but I know secretly I really like having the control over MOST of the details.  He was more interested in the music, the readings, and the tuxes we were choosing… everything else, meh. After all, we ladies are the ones who have ideas about our weddings before we’re even close to getting married. 🙂

Take it in stride, think of it this way: you could have a groomzilla on your hands instead. :O

Hi Willow! Omigoodness, YES- my Fiance loves to talk about the music for the wedding but the rest pretty much bores him.

I think it’s kind of a long shot to expect most guys to get excited about floral centerpieces and invitation design, etc…

I get excited about certain things with my girlfriends, and the bee community!

Yeah, I definitely had to drag him out to meet with potential DJ’s. It’s also been a challenge getting him to go look at wedding rings. He doesn’t care about the planning, he just wants to be married already. I guess I can’t really blame him.

ive been trying to get fi to go get fitted for his tux for 6 months…yes SIX months lol. i picked everything out, gave him a couple options for suits, put it in an envelope with the deposit and wrote the address and directions to the closest mens wearhouse. i did get him to go in once but it was prom season and there were a ton of teenage boys getting stuff for prom so we left. i keep reminding him and he says he will get to it. im about ready to go pick them out and tell him to suck it up butter cup!!
