We never remember about it until after it’s passed. We didn’t even realize our wedding date is on our dating anniversary until a few months ago!

we never did much for our dating anniversary really.. But our dating anniversary is now the same day as our wedding anniversary so I guess we will see this year ๐Ÿ™‚

Our first unofficial date and kiss was on valentine’s day and then we became official on the 19th. So just to make things easy, we always celebrated our dating anniversary on valentine’s day. Then we ended up getting married on Feb 19th, technically our 7 year anniversary even though we never celebrated on that day in the past. So this year, we just did an anniversary WEEK and we celebrated from the 14th through the 19th. =D

We will probably always try to continue this tradition, assuming time and schedules allow.

We kind of do. Our dating anniversary is on my birthday (and we were dating 7 years before we got married) so we do celebrate it. We consider that how long we’ve actually been together as a couple, versus our wedding anniversary. For example, this year we just celebrated our 10 years together, vs it only being our 3rd wedding anniversary, the former just sounds so much more relevant.

We did this year because in Feb it was our 6 year dating anniversary. We just did dinner and I bought him a card and some cake pops. I don’t think we will from this point on though since our 1 year married anniversary is in June. We will probably always go out to dinner though ๐Ÿ™‚

We got married on October 7th but our dating anniversary is the 8th.  I figure we’ll just try and do something fun both days since they’re close.  And hopefully we’ll be able to do a trip or something for our one year!

Mr TTR and I dated for 6+ Years before we got Engaged… 7+ Years before we married.  And that just happened over the Christmas Holidays… we haven’t come up on our Date-iversary (# 8) yet so I’m not sure what will happen (as we dated so long / were Common Law we used to just call it our Anniversary and celebrate it every year)

Interestingly, the date is within aprox 1 month of our Wedding Date / Anniversary… so it might be a little weird to celebrate both.

Lol, guess I’ll just have to sit still and see what happens as the date rolls around this first year of our Marriage.

We plan on getting married on our dating anniversary. It’s been almost 6 years of celebrating it. I don’t want a different anniversary. It’s the day that changed my life!

Yes we do!  It’s in the month before our wedding anniversary.  We normally go to dinner, or go for a mountain bike ride which was our first date.

Our dating anniversary is Valentine’s Day, so it’s more of a Valentine’s celebration, but we definitely celebrate.

The funny thing is that we made our dating anniversary our wedding anniversary. Which turned out to be his grandparents wedding anniversary (they celebrated 57 years). So, yup we’ll celebrate it forever.
