Somehow I tend to get hit on more while I’m at work, or when I’m picking up my lunch. There was a particularly persistent twit earlier this year who had been talking to my colleague in our office lobby and then asked me something afterwards. I thought he might have had a work related question, so I went to talk to him, only for him to tell me that he would like to get to know me outside of work. ICK!
I told him that it wouldn’t be appropriate (my work has a policy of not hanging our with clients outside of work), he asked why a few times and because he wouldn’t take my other replies for an answer, I did something I generally dislike and said that it wouldn’t be OK for the reasons I’d already mentioned AND because my husband wouldn’t like it. He then went on to creep on a woman isn’t on our payroll but who does a fair amount of business with us (who told him off for being a skeezy twit 😀 ) before leaving our office.
