I got married 4 months ago today and I’ve been looking through some of my wedding photos again. It’s taking time to enjoy looking at them without looking at them with a critical eye- wish my hair was better in that one, don’t like that angle etc etc.
However looking at some of them with fresh eyes today and I’ve found myself almost looking at them from someone else’s perspective, like its the first time I’ve acknowleged the magnatide of what we did 4 months ago, and I’m staring at this photo of our ceremony thinking That’s me and my man, we got married, that is a photo from OUR wedding day!
Anyone else still get moments like this some time after the wedding?

I can’t believe we’re engaged, let alone that we’ll be married in less than 2 months!
It’s definitely going to mess with my head!

Yes, I get moments like these frequently! Sometimes I feel the need to pinch myself haha. It’s crazy to know we went from engaged to married in one day. The first few times of watching our wedding video, it was like watching someone else. Now when I watch it, I get so emotional because that is us saying our vows to each other.. It’s such a weird feeling.

Mr. LK and I were just talking about that a few days ago. It’s still amazing that we got so lucky to find one another, get married, and build our life together. Five years ago we each walked the face of the earth, not knowing that the other existed, wondering if we’d ever find a truly loving and fulfilling relationship. And now, here we are, married and happier than either of us ever imagined was possible. It’s magic.

I totally feel like this sometimes. It’s usually when someone refers to him as my husband and I go “WOW husband”.. it’s still surreal.
