I wasn’t planning on going at all this weekend for the simple fact it’s way too crowded.  Definitely not itching to see it just yet now.

I don’t care to, but Darling Husband does and he rarely ever wants to go to the movies… So I guess I’ll cave.

Yep, I just usually wait a week or two for it to be less crowded

I watched Terminator today with my husband and I realized I’m having a hard time watching the violence today.  I’ve never been great with it, but today is especially difficult.  I felt really wrong watching for entertainment what other people just experienced in real life.

We rarely pay to see movies in theatres… so we probably won’t see it for a while.

@jjmomma:  Yah, I went to KMart today and there were about 10 people surrounding the bullet aisle.  It made me sick to my stomach and I had to leave.

You should put “undecided” in the poll. I was going to and still may, but living in CO this put quite the cloud over not only the movie but the community.

I went to see it at midnight and I plan to go again. I don’t see what the film has to do with a sociopath.

Yes. The people who died were excited enough about the movie to pre-book and go to a midnight screening; I can’t imagine that they would want people NOT to go and see the movie because they died.

There are other, more appropriate, ways to mourn their passing than boycotting that movie.

When it comes out on DVD, or at Redbox, I absolutely want to see it.

I don’t like going to movie theatres, period.

I don’t see why you wouldn’t go, to be honest.  The event was horrible and tragic and completely awful, but not seeing the movie won’t change anything, you know?

Yes.  We were at the midnight showing before this all happened and just bought tickets to see it again Sunday.  It’s a fantastic movie that will unfortunately be forever linked to this horrific tragedy.

Are you guys worried about copycat shooters? We we’re planning on going this weekend, but I’m nervous that someone is going to try to recreate the shooting.
