I’m not married yet, but this was a key issue when deciding what ring to buy. I wanted something I could wear everyday after seeing a lot of my male friends spend thousands of dollars on rings that sit in a drawer because they aren’t practical. I will wear mine any day I’m not on site.

mine are two different rings that i wear on each hand if i’m wearing both. after we got married, i wore both for a while, then switched to just my wedding ring and my engagement ring i wear on special nights out. BUT i’m actually just wearing my engagement ring today! i love them both, so it’s fun for me to pick and choose which i want to wear.

A band came specifically with the e-ring, so I had them soldered together after the wedding. It would look silly if I had only wore my band, as it has an indent to fit around the diamond, and it’s also very thin and dainty. Now hoping Darling Husband will give in and get me a band to stack on the other side for an anniversary… one day.

I actually only wear my Ering, I don’t like wearing two rings together bumpin around. It is the only jewelry I wear, except I have some lovely pearls I occassion…

Not married yet, but I plan to just wear the band, or move the Engagement Ring to the right finger but to me I just love the way plain cimple bands look, it’s just a lovely look.

OP, I’m like you, I mostly only wear my e-ring for special occasions, or least only on the weekends for dinners out or whatever…The reason is mainly the physical aspect of my job (PE teacher) but also I just like the look of my wedding bands alone plus when I do bust the e-ring out, BAM! It’s so fun to look at it since I don’t wear it every day 🙂

@snoie: Same with mine, my wedding band has a curve in it and looks funny alone

I wear only my wedding band about 99% of the time. My engagement ring is an heirloom ring, so A) Darling Husband didn’t pick it out and pay for it, so I don’t feel bad about not wearing it, and B) It’s a pearl in a very delicate setting, and I’m petrified of damaging it.

I never wear mine. Only on special occasions. Darling Husband doesn’t either. I’m usually doing too much stuff to be worried about what it’s going to do to the rings, and Darling Husband just doesn’t like wear it.

Not married yet, but I don’t think there’s any way I’ll be leaving off after the wedding. I’m so used to wearing it, it’s a part of me. It’s pretty low profile and doesn’t bother me to wear. Actually, I feel weird when it’s not on.
Plus it has so much meaning. It was my grandmother’s for 50+ years before she offered it to us. And then when Fiance saw it on my hand when I tried it on, he said he knew it was meant to be mine. I like carrying all that with me every day.

It’s been 3 & 1/2 months but yes. I took my e-ring off the other night and in less than an hour it was back on.
Both my rings are the same size, my e-riing is comfy by itself, but my band feels a little to big. I also have an indent where my rings sit, I’m sure it wouid go away if I left them off for a while, but right now it looks kinda funny. Maybe its because I’m used to wearing both, but I feel my band looks skimpy by itself. If I ever took my e-ring off long term, I would want another band for some thickness.

Not married yet, but I will be wearing a plain white gold band for everyday as I work with my hands a lot and don’t want to damage my beautiful e-ring.

Yes, all the time with my wedding ring and I intend to always wear it cuz it was much more expensive than my wedding ring and it’s unique since it has a black diamond in the center so I love it for that! Plus it wouldn’t make sense for me just to wear my wedding ring cuz both rings are a set.

I never take my wedding ring off ever. I take my e-ring off at night or when i exercise etc as it sticks out quite a bit and I am scared of catching it on things but I wear it every single day. I would never leave the house without it.

Yup I wear both every day. Never occured to me not to.
