This too. I hate towel hooks. People think they look great but the towels don’t dry right in between uses. I always use a towel bar. I also have a heated towel rack which is awesome, especially for warming your towel while you’re in the shower.

Another trick I’ve learned is to not just grab the stuff out of the washer and stuff it straight into the dryer. If you shake everything out before putting them in the dryer they will be less likely to dry wrinkled. Our new dryer also has a “wrinkle prevention” mode which really helps (it tosses them periodically after its done drying until you take everything out)

My mum never used fabric softener cos we couldn’t afford it, and I’ve just never seen the point in using it.

I always do this — shaking out/fluffing towels helps them dry properly and avoids unnecessary over-drying. I also use the wrinkle reducing setting on my dryer to fluff the towels a bit before folding.
