    Yes, I do.

    No, I don't.

Nope. If I need to slide my ring up a bit on my finger I will but then I slide it right back down. I’ve never really had an issue putting lotion on while wearing my rings though.

Yep. I don’t want the gunk in the prongs.

kanchan3 :Β  When I first got my ring, it slid pretty easily off my fingers so I would take my ring off occasionally. Now though…I have sizing beads and it’s harder to take my ring off. I never take my ring off except when I get home after work, I place it in the ring box.

When I put on lotion, I place the lotion on my hand, but do not get close to, or put lotion on my ring. Also, I think it’s a better practice now that I never take my ring off, because I reduce the risk of ever losing it. It’s easy to forget to put it back on, so I just don’t take it off anymore.

I cannot believe there is another post about this.

I take my rings off for almost everything except work (but I take it off there when I have to. For washing my hands, showers, doing dishes, doing my makeup and hair, sleeping, etc.

I like to keep my rings super sparkly and I don’t feel safe wearing them over sink drains. Some lotions have chemicals in them that can eat away at rhodium and when lotion dries under diamonds it’s can create a film that can be hard to get out from the little crevasses.

I work as a jeweler’s apprentice though, so I clean my rings pretty frequently anyway.

I never take mine off except to clean it, which is usually twice a week. I wash dishes, shower, put on lotion etc. I almost lost it once in the car, I took it off for lotion and forgot (the light turned green) then got out, went into a building, on my way out noticed I didn’t have it, had a mini heart attack, found it in my seat and said NEVER A(effin)gain!!!

As said before (and now voted!) I keep my ring on πŸ™‚

I don’t even really clean it that often – it doesn’t get that grimy tbh because I usually wear it in the shower too haha

It only comes off if I’m handling raw meat, cleaning with chemicals or if I’m boxing in the gym.

kanchan3 :  I take my rings off every time I apply lotion. They don’t leave my sight – I keep them on when I wash my hands, and at work I come  back to my office and set them on my desk in front of my computer while I put my lotion on. At home, I have a ring dish by my sink. It’s not hard for me to remember to put them back on because it’s my routine and they’re literally right there in front of me.

Yes I take them off. I can’t bear the thought of putting lotions on my hands while wearing any of my rings. I don’t wear rings while at home but when I’m out, they stay in my sight until I’m done putting lotion on and right back on they go.
