I take it off when I’m sleeping. It’s not particularly dainty and although I often don’t feel it during the day, I find at night that it feels bothersome and clunky. I keep it in a little ring bowl right next to my make-up so I never forget to put it on when I’m getting ready-it’s just part of my routine now. I rarely take it off when it’s not going in a set place, like my ring bowl. Once I took it off to wash my hands in the kitchen and had a complete freak out five minutes later because I had NO idea where it was. Designated ring spots are nice 🙂

I take my rings off as soon as I get home and only wear them when I go out.  I never forget to put them on before going out and have never lost them, not even close.

Right after we got engaged, I would take it off at night. But then I’d forget to put it back on in the morning and I did that more than a few times and FH would get upset when I did so now I just leave it on. Nothing has happened to it and we’ve been engaged for 7 months now. I’m always afraid I’ll lose it too.

I take mine off at night, but I normally sleep with it on if I’m out of town because I’m paranoid about leaving it in a hotel by accident.

I’m too scared of losing mine and it is very lightweight. I only take it off if someone wants to see it or try it on.

I rarely take mine off. Feel naked when I do!

take it off for showering, swimming, gym, cleaning and sleeping. Don’t want to ruin it and it annoys me wearing jewellery in bed. Have never lost it, and always remember to put on in the mornings

I have a little ring dish on my night stand and I take it off right before I go to sleep.  Sometimes if I’m home the next day just doing housework or being a couch potato (lol) I’ll just leave it in the ring dish.  I’ve rarely forgotten to put it on, but when I do, I don’t freak out because I know it’s in my ring dish 🙂

I do wear it in the pool.  Sometimes that worries me though.  My ring was a bit tight so it never worried me too much.  I recently got it sized up and now it’s comfortably lose.  I’ll probably freak out swimming with it now.  We will see!  That’s probably what I’d be the most careful with… Especially if you are swimming at a public pool.

miss-honeybee3:  in pretty much the same as you with my ring, except I sometimes forget to put it on in mornings, especially if I plan on going to gym. I always forget to put it back on when I get home. I do take my ring off when I’m cooking with meat and sonetime a when I’m washing dishes. I’m too afraid of damaging it. My friend on the other hand wears hers 24/7.

alibc:  I read online that clorine eats away white gold, which I have, so I won’t wear mine at the pool. Just a heads up of yours is also white gold.

At home, I take it off for bed and when I wash my hands or shower.  I’ve got a designated jewelry dish on the bathroom counter for it, so I always see it when I’m getting ready to leave.  That way, I never forget it!

My fingers get puffy at night, so the ring definitely gets uncomfortable.  I know where it’s at.

If we’re at a hotel or something, I’ll keep it on and just turn the stones to the inside of my hand so it doesn’t snag on anything.

pglt09:  I leave it on all the time unless I’m going to the river/swimming. I was worried about it because I’m so clumbsy and thrash a lot at night but it’s never been a problem. I don’t even feel it anymore..it’s become like a part of finger now.

smashleykat:  Ooo good tip!  I had no idea.  Thank you!  I usually swim at my parent’s pool and they clean their pool with ozone, opposed to chlorine.  So I think I’m okay there.  But definitely will need to keep this in mind for public pools!  That would be a scary thought! lol

I didn’t ever take my e-ring off before the wedding, but my band was too loose and had to be resized and I think they went too small. I can get it on with slight effort but it feels tight at night, so I take them both off Until I am up for the day. I don’t like it though. I am so worried about losing them!
