Rarely.  Usually only to put on lotion, so only for the 30 seconds i’m rubbing it in.  Otherwise, I feel its safest right where it belongs on my finger.

I’m obsessed with my ring, but I take it off to do dishes and shower. Its worth $12,000 so no way in hell am I going to be stupid with it and like you said “it would just be my luck” that something would happen to it.

I take it off before I start getting ready for bed and it’s the last thing I put on in the morning (after getting dressed and putting makeup on).  I do wash my hands and dishes with it on though I take it off if I’m cooking something gross like meat.

Yes, I take it off for anything where it could be at risk: cleaning, dishes, shower, lotion, exercise, sleep. Though, my ring is a bit lose, so it could easily slip off.

I only wear my e-ring when I’m not home, unless I am working at the hospital. It’s too big it gets in the way, but once I start wearing my wedding bands I will probably wear them more (except for showering/cleaning/cooking). Until then I bought a plain yellow gold band that I wear all the time.

all the time. I usually take it off when I go to sleep, shower, apply lotion, lift weights, and sometimes if I work out outside of lifting weights like running.

Mine’s a bit big though especially in the winter so I worry it will fall off.

@Merinda1994:  I’m forgetful and with my luck I’d lose it so, the only time I take it off is when I’m putting lotion on Which stays beside my bed. That way, I can never lose it.

I’m completely and totally obsessed with my ring as well. 🙂 I do take it off often, however. I don’t wear it in the shower, I don’t wear it to wash my face before bed, and I don’t wear it to apply lotion.

I have read about other people with Tacori rings that have pave stones on them losing the pave stones when they are working with their hands. This is the main reason that I do not wear my ring to do these things, as I would never notice if a stone fell out. For what we paid for it, there better not be any loose stones! Money Mouth

@Merinda1994:  only when applying lotion, doing something really messy/gross like making meatballs, or cleaning the ring (it’s in the cleaner while I’m in the shower). If you think you’ll continue to take it off for things, get some ring holders to keep around so you don’t lose it

I usually dip my ring in a hot water and soap bath while I make my morning latte. A few months back I forgot that I left it in to soak and my FI didn’t know… it went, down the drain! I went flying downstairs and grabbed it before he turned on the garbage disposal. Lesson learned. Now I will only clean it if I’m the only one home.

At night I take it off usually and it is on a little ring holder on my nightstand.

@Merinda1994:  my rings are beautiful but I really only wear them when we leave the house. I’m just not a huge jewelry person and I don’t have them on when I’m just sitting around.

I pretty much only wear my rings when I am out.  If I am going to the gym or in the house doing things (cooking/cleaning/personal hygeine/sleeping) my rings are in my jewelry box.  Knock wood, I’ve had them for 8+ years and never lost them.  They are either on my finger, in the ring dish downstairs or in my jewlery box upstairs though.

All the time.

As soon as I get home, my jewelry & work clothes come off. If I don’t leave the house, I don’t wear them.

I take mine off to put on lotion, go swimming, to take a shower, to do yardwork, wash dishes, and cook most things, and usually to wash my hands 🙂 I have a ringholder upstairs and downstairs, so it goes in one of those, super in plain sight, or in my bra or pocket. I never have it off long enough to do laundry without wearing it 😛
