I never take mine off – it is a plain gold band though, so nothing really to get dirty.  But that is also part of the reason I opted for gold as opposed to diamond encrusted, I didn’t want to ever have to take it off.

i take it off to shower, clean and work out usually. the jeweler scared me into this by telling me that the soap can get under the diamonds and make them cloudy after a while so i take it off to shower ALWAYS usually when im doing dishes or cleaning – but if im just straightening up i usually keep it on. and when i workout i take it off too (just in case i want to lift weights that day, it scratches the band) My husband though never takes his off – but he also doesnt have the stoens in his. Just my personal preference i guess- my mother never takes hers off. we are totally stocked up on jewlery cleaner though -we got a tub for each of our rings and an extra when we took his in to be sized so i try and clean it ever couple weeks.

I don’t yet have a wedding band but I treat my engagement ring the same way I will be treating the band. I.e. it comes off as soon as I get home from work. It comes on when I am leaving home in the morning. I do not want to get it dirty. I also remove it before I put on lotion and/or wash my hands. I’m psycho like that! Embarassed

I plan to get a plain gold band and wear it all the time.  Doubt I’ll even wear my engagement ring all the time so I don’t have to worry about taking it off and putting it on, it’ll go on when I want to wear it and go out or something.

I’d love for the band to stay on all the time (except maybe when cleaning chicken ? Undecided )

I take both of my rings off everyday when I get home from work and change out of my work clothes.

I don’t have a wedding band yet, but I will have take it off for work. Nobody wants a massage therapist with a big chunk of metal on their finger.

I take mine off when I get home from work too, or if I’m doing major housecleaning or something like that… when I first got it I wore it 24/7 for a few weeks, LOL.

I do not take my rings off ever – verrrry occasionally I will take them off if I am handling raw meat or dough (cookie or bread) but that happens so rarely it is barely worth counting!  The way I see it, you wash your rings with soapy water – showering and washing your hands only helps!

I take my e ring off to sleep. My wedding band stays on all the time (it’s plain gold, no stones).

I take mine off to shower and to work out (my fingers swell when I work out and it gets really tight.  Plus if I’m doing weights, they scratch it up badly).

I take my rings off when I get home.  My wedding band has diamonds so I won’t wear it doing anything dirty or grimey.
