I wear glasses every day and save contacts for special occasions. I’m wearing contacts for my wedding. I think glasses are too distracting on brides – everytime I see pictures of a bride with glasses I focus on the glasses and wonder why she is wearing them. I think you should experiment with contacts and find some that are comfortable for you.

I am definitely wearing my glasses. I’ve worn contacts in the past, but I just feel more me in my glasses, plus I am all about comfort on my wedding day. I am planning on getting a cool pair from zennioptical or glasseslit in purple (my wedding color) or with some sort of bejeweling on the sides, so they will feel more special.

I wear glasses and will be wearing them on my wedding day. My vision is horrible without them, and I don’t like fussing with contacts.
I’d probably go for frameless or half frames, because that’s pretty much all I wear anyway. I’m not worried about them looking dated in pictures. Wedding pictures always look dated eventually anyway! I’d rather just wear what makes me happy and enjoy the day.

Mermaid gowns will be outdated sooner than your glasses will be. And, yes, all of our wedding photos WILL be dated eventually.
No one questions a groom wearing his glasses to his wedding. This is sad. Wear what you want. You’ll be beautiful!

I’ve been wearing glasses everyday since I was 4 years old. Not wearing glasses on my wedding day would not feel like me, so I’ll be wearing them! Fiance also has glasses, but he also wears contacts, not sure what he’ll be doing.Â
