That is a beautiful dress, I love the glitz and ruffles!  I think you will look beautiful in it!

I’m going to be honest, but no I don’t think it will flatter your figure. I think a natural waist is best. A natural waist will cinch your waist and flare out at the hips, that I think is the best and most flattering shape for your figure.

Now with that said, if you’re not going to FEEL happy in a nautral waist (or rather anything other than that Jenna…) then that’s what you should get.

I have to agree with vmec. I think something other than a drop waist would be more flattering;  have you tried on others with different shapes?

@vmec:  I agree totally with you. I don’t think the Jenna would be the most flattering.

I have to agree, that dress is really not a good fit for your figure, and I am also a plus size woman.

It looks very pretty from the front, but that’s the kind of dress that when you see a side pic of yourself, you wonder wth you were thinking. Believe me, I bought a dress like that and have no recourse! lol

I think an aline, natural waist dress would be so much more flattering to your figure ๐Ÿ™‚

Ooo I like the ball gown style on you!

Ultimately it’s your decision, and you won’t look bad in anything that you’ve posted on here. ๐Ÿ™‚

I like the ballgown style much better on you too. But like pp’s said you have to feel good. Ultimatly we can all tell you that we don’t like the fitted style but if you feel amazing in it – go for it.

I am a Jenna bride and love the dress. It is fab IMO… ๐Ÿ™‚

I do think that you may also like the fit of a dress that is more A-line/natural waist and then flares a but higher instead of a drop waist.  I looked through the Maggie site and picked these for you.  They have the sweet heart neckline and seem to have a sexy fit like the Jenna and the dresses you like.

Carissa looks fun and sits higher, Dixie cuts a bit higher from the pic and looks sexy, Antonia is awesome in person –loved the belt on it, Virginia is a beauty and the silloutte of the dress may be great on you (if you like a bit of lace).

Since we have similar taste, thought I’d help a fellow bee out.  Where as you seem a bit unsure of the fit, try on a few more and if you can’t stop thinking about Jenna —then that’s your dress. ๐Ÿ™‚

Of the pics you posted the ball gown is a winner. But, I also think a natural waistline in maybe a more structured fabric might look better than organza. You look very happy in the 1st and 3rd dress so it’s really up to you which one makes you feel the best!

I’m with frenchie427: I think the Carissa and the Virginia woud be more flattering. That said, if you still LOVE the Jenna, go for it. It is a gorgeous gown, which will be made all the more gorgeous by the fact that you’re in love with it, with your Fiance, and with your special day!
