I do like the ring to be honest with you, but I do get self conscious about showing it to people cause no one has said “Gorgeous” like I’d love to hear….every single one of them has said “How cute” or “adorable”. I don’t really want adorable and cute….I want gorgeous and to feel like I’m worth what it would take to get something that can be called that. I love my fiance with all my heart and I would NEVER ask him to upgrade to something different because of my self consciousness. I was just wanting to know if there are any other future brides out there that can sympathize?
And I don’t need to be told that I’m being selfish and should just get more mature.
HERE’s ANOTHER QUESTION: What kind of band do YOU think would look good with my ring? I’ve been looking around and just can’t decide. We don’t really wanna spend anymore than $200.00 so if you could post pics and if any of you have one that looks similiar to mine and have pics of your ering and band I’d love to see them! Thanks!!!
Thanks for your opinions!

How big is your diamond? What is your ring size?
I actually do think it’s gorgeous. I have one almost EXACTLY like that, same setting and nearly same size I think on my right hand because it was my grandmother’s. I definitely don’t think you should change it because I think it will look beautiful with a wedding band. Get something blingy for that if you’re still feeling self-conscious at that time.

I think your ring looks beautiful on your finger. I think it looks like the perfect size. As long as you love it, be happy and flaunt it!

If you flaunt it like you love it, everyone else will love it too. My engagement ring is sort of small but I have little fingers and big rings look crazy on me. I love my man and my ring and when I show it off, I let everyone know how much I love it and once I say that they always say, it is very beautiful. My engagement ring is princess cut solataire with side accents. I believe it’s a little less than 1 carat but it sparkles and I love it. If you’re not proud of it, people pick up on that and they will react the same way. Love it, it’s yours.

It’s a .33 carat ring. And I really do love it 🙂 Thank you everyone!!! Y’all have been very encouraging 🙂

I think it is beautiful. I know you have probably heard this before but it is the thought that counts. I love my ring and it is smaller than yours, it isn’t exactly what I would have picked but I love it even more because HE picked it.

It’s a .33 carat ring and I’m a 5 and 1/2 ring size. And I really do love it 🙂 Thank you everyone!!! Y’all have been very encouraging 🙂

It looks beautiful on you, seriously.

First off, your ring is absolutely gorgeous! I love it. I think it is natural to feel that way. I feel that way sometimes but I need a little reminder every now and then…
My fiance let me pick out my ring, and he surprised me with a perfectly proportional diamond to my small finger. I thought I wanted a bigger diamond, but it didn’t suit my personality anyway. But if you don’t feel good about it, let the love of your life know. I’ve asked my fiance (out of insecurity) if my ring was too small and I did feel really bad asking. He ended up writing me a poem about how much he loves and cares for me. After that, I realized how lucky I am to be with him and how our little ring is a perfect symbol of our love!
P.S. If you haven’t got your wedding band yet, you could always opt for an eternity band with diamonds all the way around. Just an idea! Best wishes to you, mrsdavistobe2012!

its a classic and beautiful ring! you should not feel insecure about it at all…maybe a pave wedding band tfor some extra sparkle? (if thats what you are going for) but i absolutely love round solitares – there is nothing better.

It’s bigger than mine. 😉 People just tell me how pretty and dainty mine is. I picked it out too, sort of. I feel a little self conscious about my ring around girls with huge rocks, but in the end I’m glad I don’t have a huge rock snagging on my hand as I try to put my hands in the pockets on my jeans/coat/whatever.
I think your ring is gorgeous and classic, and you’ll probably appreciate the size not being too much of a burden! 🙂

It is super gourgeous!!!I love it and I personally like smaller rings much more. They’re way more elegant and stylish. That’s my opinion. Class!

ignore the people who say “cute” and “adorable”. they are either being clueless or catty. don’t let it get to you!
your ring is beautiful, and the most important thing is that YOU love it, and you love your fiance!
