Your ring is beautiful. And as some PP ‘s mentioned, you can always add some more “bling” by getting a wedding band with little pave diamonds if you’d like.

@mrsdavistobe2012:  I think it looks fine!  I am actually a little jealous that it looks that nice on your finger.  I would flaunt it! Laughing

So long as YOU love your ring, it’s all that matters! A symbol of your love! In our giant-ring-obsessed society (ahem Kim Kardashian anyone?) people may say “cute” instead of “gorgeous” if it’s not a big rock, but who cares what anyone else says or thinks? Your ring is lovely!

I have a friend who recently got engaged and her ring is very similar to yours. When we met up for coffee to celebrate (and for her to ask me to be a bridesmaid! yay!) she showed me the ring and I said “Oh [insert name here], it’s beautiful” and she looked so relieved! She told me that everyone was calling it “cute”, so I understand how annoying that can be. She told me that she loved it, because she knew it was something that her fiancee had worked very hard to buy for her (he’s still in school) and it was a representation of their current situation. Ultimately, the ring represents your fiancees love and devotion to you, and his desire to be with you forever. You might be able to add a little sparkle with the wedding band. Maybe look into moissanite bands, or even crystals? I have a Swarovski ring from my SO for an anniversary that looks like a wedding band that I get comments on all the time. It is super sparkly (after almost 3 years of having it) and only cost $105.00 (CAD$).

Anyway, your ring is beautiful, not simply because it’s a diamond ring (how could that NOT be beautiful!?), but for the love it represents. All the best!

Mine is a 0.25 with 4 little diamonds either side and a little filagree heart under the stone setting…Compared to the rings on here mines tiny… But my Fiance searched everywhere all by himself to find a ring that would suit him and me and represent the way he feels… I think he did a AMAZING job and I wouldn’t swap it for the world… It’s what the ring represents not the size, or the cost. My Fiance could have proposed with a haribo ring and I’d still have balled like a baby and screamed yes lol 🙂

Looks the same as mine. E-rings should be quite small, IMO, because you wear them all the time. Big rings catch on things. They’re also a risk factor for being mugged.

If you want a huge rock, buy a white sapphire/black diamond RHR. That way you don’t have to wear it all the time!

@chittychittybanebane:  I LOVE your wedding band. I have a solitaire cushion and that’s the type of wedding band I want. The only thing that concerns me, is I’ve heard that sometimes those tiny diamonds will fall out.. Have you had that problem?

@mrsdavistobe2012:  Gorgeous darling. White gold?? Your pic has a warm feel to it so I wasn’t sure? Anywho I think you should either get a very thin pave band or a white gold band to match your ring. I bet your stone sparkles like crazy!

mrsdavistobe2012:

to be honest it is small, but that shouldn’t matter. If you are looking for a bigger expensive look, you will have to spend at least $6,000 plus. Not sure what your budget is. This is mine, which was $30,000. An upgrade from a smaller one then yours, .75 carats. Had it for 8 years and my husband bought this one to replace it.
