(Closed) Do you think the color gray washes people out?

I love dark gray! I think it’s as easy to wear as black, but with a bit more interest. Very light gray washes most people out (unless they have dark skin). But then, so do all pastels, and white.

Light gray tends to really wash me out, but dark gray should be fine! I think it would look good 🙂

I also think dark grey, pewter or silver are way better than a light grey for pale skin tones.  Also a tafetta or heavier fabric than chiffon tends to look better in grey’s.  Here was my Maid/Matron of Honor and I feel it looked good on her.

Generally, no.

Certain shades of any color on certain skin tones can be unflattering. Gray can be plenty flattering, but sometimes isn’t.

Keep the color.  I love dark gray.  I hope my friend picks that color for our dresses!

@peachbaby4008:  Thanks…my moh said it was super comfy and LOVED the pockets.  It is a Bari Jay dress style 304.
