We’re ordering our cupcakes this weekend. The place we’re ordering from has so many flavors! I want all of them! lol
These are what we are thinking of:
- Red Velvet–it will have choc chips in it, cream cheese icing, and white choc shavings
- A plain vanilla with vanilla frosting
- Chocolate cake with pb frosting
- Strawberry cupcakes with strawberry buttercream
Do you think that’s a good variety? We’ll probably do more in the red velvet and white and then a little less of the other two. The only thing Fiance has asked for in the wedding process is choc/pb cupcakes so that’s a definite.
They have a choc cupcake with a buttery pretzel crust, peanut butter icing, and topped with choc covered pretzels that I really want…..might have to order one of those just for me!

Sounds great to me. I’d eat any one of these flavors. Yum.

Personally not a huge red velvet fan because it always tastes food-dye-y to me. Especially if you have another chocolate option, which is what red velvet is. The other three sound DELCIOUS.

They all sound delicious! I’d probably go with the chocolate/peanut butter.

They all sound delicious. Only problem is how does one choose which flavor to have??

I don’t eat red velvet and I hate chocolate but strawberry would be a huge hit with me!

This is a great variety. We are doing similar. My absolute favorite kind of cake is Red Velvet, so our wedding cake is going to be red velvet. Then, we’re doing cupcakes. The flavors we’re having are: Carrot (cream cheese icing), Strawberry (cream cheese icing), Chocolate (buttercream icing), and Yellow cake (chocolate icing).

Why isn’t there an option for I’d happily eat any of them? LOL My favorite is probably vanilla or strawberry..but I know a lot of people like chocolate. We’re probably just going to do vanilla and chocolate at our wedding.

Sounds good and there is plenty of variety, especially since you have 2 chocolate options.

Their red velvet is really chocolaty, not heavy on the red dye taste and they put chunks of chocolate in it so that helps too. They are soooooooo good! And our colors are dark red and slate grey so it’s perfect.
