I like the 2nd ones you posted.

I can’t help but think “Hunt”+ deer = dead deer and since it’s a male and female deer….bride and groom…hunt….yeah.

Not a fan at all. I think you can do miles and miles better.

I Aldo think it’s odd that you two are the deer that are being shot and killed.

crisy003:  You can still incorporate the gold antlers and gold deer cake topper with the second cobalt blue invites you chose. I think “the hunt is over” invites are better suited for an engagement party or a couple’s wedding shower rather than your actual wedding invite. I know what look you’re trying to achieve, but the deer invites are def going overboard.

Those are great! I think they are exactly as you described… boho country! Ignore what anyone else has to say, if its something you love go for it! People have different tastes and some people do not understand different styles. Loving your inspiration photos btw, very elegant countryish. Judging from your good taste, I don’t think you could do “honey boo boo” even if you tried.

I actually do not like the second set you posted at all. To me it looks dirty instead of rustic.

I see nothing wrong with the first set with the deer, and I understand that the wording might be a little off putting but these are little portraits of very much alive deer, and not to mention that deer have their antlers fall off and it’s quite a common practice for people to collect the ones that they find.

I say do what makes you and your fiance happy. It’s your wedding.

And seriously if it’s the wording of ‘the hunt is over’ that really makes people upset, it shouldn’t be that difficult to change if you’re working with a designer. It could be like ‘a deer couple’ or ‘our deer friends’ something like that.

crisy003:  i, for one, think your invites are adorable. Who cares what everyone else thinks. It is your wedding! Do what makes you smile when you look back for years to come.

If you love them, go for it. They aren’t my taste, but then you might hate my invites!

I personaly think your invites are very nice. I can’t seem to find any link with honey boo boo’s mother… And i don’t like the second one much. Or rather I don’t think it would fit your theme as well… but it’s a matter of preferences ๐Ÿ™‚

On another subject, your theme remembered me a blog article I read not long ago. It might give you some more inspiration so here is the link ๐Ÿ˜‰
