Do you think these invites look "honey boo-booish?"

crisy003:  You’re welcome. That’s a good idea–best of both worlds.

crisy003:  sorry, I’m with your mother.

And gold plated antlers? on the table? oy vey.

But then, I DID just finish binge-watching True Detective, so that’s part of my turn off for antlers.

crisy003:  The second example of invitation is cute, but it’s Victorian/ fuax vintage with that sepia color. Not sure what you see as “rustic” about it. But I like them, but then, I like victorian stuff.

crisy003:  Seriously, watch True Detective before you go with that antler theme!  🙂 kinda kidding, kinda not.

crisy003:  How exciting! That sounds amazing. Ps. I watched True Detective and I am not at all against the gold antler theme.

With all due respect, when you send your mother pictures of a wedding cake with a deer topper you shouldn’t feel “insulted” by her feedback because it wasn’t positive lol.  If you are dead set on doing what makes you and your fi happy then you have to accept that not everyone is going to like it.  I personally don’t like it and think it seems a bit too forced and litteral.  I don’t think those photos will translate well in the real world and would potentially look tacky.  However, the invites were very lovely with nice typeface.
