They remind me of the shoes my mother-in-law wore to our wedding. I think they look comfortable but not flattering.

I don’t think so. I was expecting something terrible, but those are nice.

Its hard to say how they would look on your foot. I think with the right outfit, they could look very fashionable. Also if they fit properly and don’t ilke hug your foot in a weird way they will look cute.

My mom would wear them with slightly too long capris, a large swingy shirt and a book pin, so then they would look matronly. I love and adore her and her mom clothes.

Its not so much that they look matronly to me… I just think they’re ugly.

The only part that makes it look matronly for me is the sole, which is the part that makes it comfortable. In reality I probably wouldn’t even notice it if seen on someone in public.

It really depends on how they look on.  There is something about the shape in the picture that makes them look a little old lady-ish, but when shaped to your foot that might not be so pronounced.

They’re not my favorite, but I don’t think anyone will point and laugh if you choose to wear them.

I don’t think they look matronly, but it really would depend on the outfit. They could be cute, depends on what you wear them with.

i think they would be cute with a long maxi dress or something like that…but not with shorts or a short skirt..maybe even skinny jeans that are cuffed…i think with the right outfit they would be cute…

i am 30 & i would consider myself pretty well versed in fashion/style

@lotto:  This. The wrong outfit could make it appear matronly.

I think they look “comfortable” and “sensible”, which to me is synonymous with matronly, unfortunately. I get what they were going for, but I think there are much better looking gladiator sandals out there that are also very comfortable.

My boss wears those!  She is 65.  She has told me they bother her feet- NO LIE!
