    P.S. I’ve noticed you’ve been trying/buying/considering a lot of dresses.

My bet is that the moment you find THE dress, you won’t have to ask us!!  🙂

I love the cut of the dress and it is very wedding-y but like some of the other posters I am not a fan of the yellow but I think it would look great in almost any other colour. Also maybe the yellow looks better in person?

If you can pull it off, more power to you.  I agree with Amaryllis, that you have to OWN this dress to pull it off.  If you love it, maybe contact the designer about making the gown in head to toe ivory so you can have the shape and style without the yellow?

I want to vote that I LOVE it. Just promise that you will tame the hair down a bit … the girl there looks a bit like an alien.

I dig it.  My favorite color is yellow, though.  I think it would be rad with a bouquet of blue or purple hydrangeas, or an all-white bouquet.

I actually like this dress… but I REALLY like the beautiful Vera you already own. I dont think this holds a candle to it.

I love it.  If you love it and it’s your style then wear it.  Who cares what people think?  Unless Tim Gunn will be in attendance at your wedding, none of your guests’ style opinions really matter.

I think if the entire dress was in white/ivory, it would still be just unusual and edgy enough to make you really stand out, but at the same time still be so bridal that nobody would be fainting from the shock. That would be a good compromise if you wanted to wear it for your ceremony.

If you just plan to wear it for the reception, then you would definitely get away with the yellow! Lots of brides change to a coloured outfit for the reception, so this isn’t much different.

If you do decide to buy this dress, I would really strongly suggest that you stop looking at dresses and cancel any further dress appointments. I’ve noticed you have tried on quite a few dresses already and it’s likely that trying on any more will just sway you in a different direction… I am quite worried for your bank balance!

If you honestly can’t resist trying on more dresses, don’t buy this one yet–just keep it in your memory banks so that you can mentally compare it with any new dresses you’ve tried on. Once you’ve finished all your appointments, you can decide which one dress you want most of all, out of the ones you’ve tried.
