@arousa1979nyc – LOL are you serious? Exactly its a freaking dress! We didn’t say you looked fat and ugly in it or anything we commented on the DRESS. It’s not like you designed the thing. I didn’t realize we HAD to like it. Every single post you have started is about a dress, are we suppose to like all of them? I know I figured you would want honest answers but I guess not.

wow ms. charleston, you are really heated and i’m not sure why. this thread has turned really really ugly, and i really dont want to participate in it anymore. people on the thread said they didnt like the dress, they said they liked it, they said it’s not their style but go ahead, some people even said it looked like PEE!
i didnt mind the comments because they were honest but POLITE. do you even know what polite means? isnt that supposed to be a southern thing… manners? how would you feel if someone said it was ugly? or they HATE the dress… pretty extreme feelings dont you think? but whatever, maybe it’s just the way some people express themselves and this is virtual and anonymous, so it comes with the territory.
seems that you just want this to go on and on, and really… i’m not interested. i’m unsubscribing to my thread, so if you feel like ranting on about me, go ahead. it’s really falling on deaf ears. your own wedding is pretty soon and i wish you the very best for it and the best of experiences in finding/altering/attaining the dress of your dreams.
for everyone else’s comments, thanks a bunch! i’ve sorted out the dress drama, and now can focus on more important things like placecards 😛 good luck everyone! signing off as this thread has obviously run its course.

Honestly, other than the yellow at the bottom, it looks like a wedding dress to me. I’m not exactly sure I see what about is considered unconventional except for the color.
It’s a beautiful gown. So if you feel spectacular in it then you should get it.

It’s not me but I definitely think it’s bridal enough. If you love it then I say go for it.

I think it’s pretty. I’m not into yellow/dark ivory as a whole, but that doesn’t mean that someone else isn’t. The color can be modified to something else with no problems, as in requesting that the dress be made with a different color, rather than dying a different color over the yellow which will not get the desired results. If you love it, then wear it and it doesn’t matter what anyone else thinks.
Plus it’s no different from Gwen Stefani’s pink ombre wedding dress that everyone was lusting over a few years back and didn’t have a single bad thing to say about it even if it wasn’t their personal taste.

I love it! However, the only thing that matters is that YOU love it. 🙂 Go on with your bad self!

I LOVE the ombre look! I am happy to see that this trend translated to wedding dresses. I think as long as the dye color stays a buttery yellow, you are okay. I am actually not a huge fan of the structure, but that is definitely more based on not seeing myself being able to wear it. It is edgy and I think you can rock it.
