Do you think this eBay ring is a bad purchase?

I’d go with the Etsy one. The others are probably CZ, which is fine, but CZ won’t hold up as well as moissanite.

jgti23 :  I’d go with the moissanite one. CZs cloud over time.

I love the style of the last one!  I think moissanite is a much better stone than CZ, so while it costs more, it should last significantly longer.

I’d always go with moissanite over cz. Moissanite will hold up better and stay sparkly even when dirty. CZ may cloud up with time and you might find yourself cleaning it more frequently so it shines.

Absolutely go for the moissanite.  Lasts forever, you won’t regret it!

Also, if you go cz, you will have to replace those stones probably at some point, so where’s the savings, right?  If you go with gold, do the moissy…..or as an option, do a gold filled cz til you feel better about going all out with gold.

Buy something from berricle.  It will last longer than ebay.

I got my wedding band from Ebay from the seller wavejewelry. They have a few diamond bands that start at pretty reasonable prices. I didn’t get a band with stones though, so I can’t comment on how well they set them or anything, but I liked that you can order your size and the smaller your ring size the lesser the price.

jgti23 :  I second PPs. Go with the moissanite from Etsy. You’ll be frustrated with the CZ band before long. If you don’t want to spend the money for the better band now, have you thought about getting a plain band and then saving up for a diamond or moissy one?                            E-weddingbands.com has very good prices. You could get a solid 10K gold one for a good price and at least it will still be a good band that you can wear even after you get one with stones in it. Just a thought!

jgti23 :  Moissanite!  I’m wearing a CZ right now and while it’s still looking good after two months, it’s definitely not a lifetime ring but it’s what I’m wearing while I’m waiting for my next ring to be made and while I’m pregnant.

I’d go with the moissy band. But if you want to save money, what about getting a plain 14k gold band?

So glad you are going with the moissanite. I noticed the first band you posted isn’t really yellow gold, but it is plated over a base metal of silver. Not worth the price AT ALL.
