No, probably not. I’m not enjoying wedding planning at all. I’d rather spend money on an awesome vacation instead!

@Mrs.Darling:  I would love for Mr. O and I to renew our vows to each other every year, too. But NO party planning or $$$$. Just me, him and our pup, by the sea, reliving our promises. 🙂

In 30 years or so, yeah! I’d love to do a small destination vow renewal! We did personal vows at our wedding and it would be neat to read them to each other again after 30 years of marriage.

We plan on doing a renewal for our 5th anniversary. But it will be just us on a beach and a photographer, nice and stress free. I think we’ll be going back to Hawaii where we took our honeymoon to do the renewal so that will make it special too.

Had a bad experience with the photographer at our wedding and as a result have only some non pro pictures to use for photo albums and such, otherwise we probably wouldn’t even do a photographer. Figure it’ll be our second chance to have what we should have gotten in the first place while also more importantly renewing our vows.

I can’t see us ever doing one…I’ve never met anyone who has done one. I don’t really see a point – it isn’t like a drivers license or credit card, vows don’t expire.

I can’t imagine doing a vow renewal.  I meant it the first time.  I remind him every day that I love him and I’m happy to be his wife.

My husband and I were never planning to do a vow renewal–he always thought they were dumb. We didn’t get to do anything for our second anniversary last month, though, because I’ve been battling cancer. I should (fingers crossed) be in remission when our third anniversary comes around, so we are going to go to Beaches resort in Turks and Caicos and renew our vows on the beach. Nothing fancy, no guests, just the two of us on the beach and I’m getting a sexy dress (I have my eye on the Maggei Sottero Marion dress) to wear.

We want to renew ours in Cayo Coco where we got engaged! Probably at 10 years, but I don’t know if I can wait that long!!

I said I would wait till 5 years.  Renewed our vows on our one year anniversary.  It really was more special than wedding day.

No, I doubt we’ll ever do a renewal.

That being said, our family/friends had so much fun at our reception that it’s inspired us to possibly have a big party every year. Nothing fancy like our reception, just a band, food (probably BBQ), booze, and our friends/family. I doubt it’ll even be an anniversary party – maybe we’ll make it an annual thing.
