Where I live (extremely rural Midwest), my center stone is considered large. It’s around 1 carat on a size 5.5 finger. I would be comfortable with a bigger center stone just because I love bling, but I wouldn’t want my diamond to be any smaller than it is now. I picked it out for the most part, so of course I think it is perfect!

I love the way my 1.3 looks on my 5.5 finger. But sometimes it makes me uncomfortable because it’s so much larger than everyone else’s where I live.

Im weird though because I also like the way small stones (.25) look on my finger as well. And I doubt I would hit it as much if my ering were that size.

    but overall I’m very happy!

I have a 1.5 carat on a size 3.5 finger which gives me a little over 50% coverage. I’m happy with the amount of finger coverage, but I wouldn’t complain if it were bigger 😉

I feel very lucky, because I believe my quarter carat ring looks perfect on me. I think the largest I could go would be a half carat before things look costumey. I have very short fingers. My hands are child size. My index finger is actually the size of most people’s pinkies.

I tried on a 2 carat ring at Kays, just messing around. It took up the entire length of my first knuckle, LOL. I’ve seen rings that size on the long, elegant fingers of other bees, and they looked great. On me, it looked like I was playing dress up.

I don’t have many hand shots because my health care job does not make for pretty hands. This shot I took for comparison of the different color metals, so it is as close as I have to hand shot.

    I don’t think mine is the perfect size – 2.5ct on a size 5. It’s a bit big, but I wouldn’t change it or wish anything different… so I didn’t vote.

I have a 1 carat and i used think i wanted a lot of bling but i actually learned i like rings with less finger coverage. I want to upgrade my ring someday and i want to go up to a 1.5 but nothing higher. My stand in is 1.59 solitaire and i think it still looks dainty in my size 8 finger.

Yes, I think my ring is perfect for my finger/tastes. I wanted a classic proportion of skin/ring/skin and am not a more coverage the merrier gal. I have 1 1/2 on a 5.5 and to me it’s “pleasantly plump” while not over the top. Noticeable but practical. The 2 felt too top heavy on my finger.

I dont ever want to upgrade, to me there’s no such thing! Ill be “diversifying my portfolio” lol but the ering stays.

I have a 1.06 carat cushion cut on a size 5 finger. It is perfect! I have longgggg skinny fingers and with the dainty 1.5mm setting width, it is super perfect and dainty for my finger.

Oooh, tough question. I go back and forth. One day I look down and think, “Damn Sparkles, you lost some weight, gurl. Not a good look.” Then other days I’m like “DAMN Sparkles, you look like a huge ostentatious beeyotch. Not a good look.” Then other days I’m like “DAMN Sparkles, you PERFECT.”

I don’t really think these exact things, but you get the idea 🙂

So I guess if sometimes I wish it were bigger and sometimes I wish it were smaller, it’s the perfect size…?

I have 1.5 carat on a size 7.5. I’ll be honest, I think 2 cts would look better, but that’s not happening. It’s not like 1.5 looks puny or anything. I just think it would look more proportionate. I wish all the time that I had size 4 or 5 fingers!

My center stone is 6mm (.65ct), and that + the halo, gives plenty of finger coverage to my 4.75 size finger. So ya, I think it’s just the perfect size for me. Oh, and Olaf says hi lol

My finger is a size 6. My ring has a center stone of .87ct, with the halo and pave it comes out to about 1.5ct total. I think it is the perfect amount of coverage for me. When Fiance proposed he said we can upgrade it on special anniversaries, but I wouldn’t want anything bigger. For me, this is it. But I do love love love looking at all the bees with the huge rocks!!! Beautiful :)<br />Not sure why my pic turned out sideways…but that seems to be a common theme on these boards!
