i have a 2.24 solitaire, size 6. I love it but have noticed it does get a lot of attention which makes me feel awkward as I am not an attention seeker. So far have just been compliments at least, but I live in a smaller city with a lot of low incomes. I hope I don’t get mugged. :p

Mine are sized just right (2.35, 2.1) considering my larger finger size of 6.5-7. I chose a D color super-ideal for the round. For the same price I certainly could have gone larger if I wanted a middle of the road stone. But people look at size first and foremost, and I didn’t want the attention and assumptions that a larger stone invites.

I have a 1.8ct and when I first got it, I thought it was too big. But it’s grown on me, and now I think it’s perfect! I think I would have experienced shrinkage if I’d gone any smaller, and I definitely wouldn’t want to go bigger. Finger size is 7.5. 🙂

I didn’t vote because I don’t believe there is a perfect size stone/coverage for my finger. There is just too many styles and moods so I believe all type of rings looks pretty if you are wearing something that you like regardless of size.

I can attest to your stone being the perfect size for your finger.

I think my diamond is in well proportion to my finger!! Its a .75 ct center diamond with a halo, base of my finger is a size 5.

Mine is a 2.0 equivalent moissy on a size 6 and I love how it looks. Your rings are all beautiful.

Haha, I named my ring Sparkles, too. Everytime I go to open the door to the restroom at work it catches the light perfectly (random, I know) and every time I say to myself “hello, Sparkles!”

My diamond ring is 0.51 carats and a Tiffany-style setting.. It looks sparkly and reat quality but fairly ordinary on its own . My wedding ring is pretty ordinary too – 2mm d-shaped and yellow gold. But put them together and something magical happens. They çomplement each other and simply work together brilliantly.

Mine seems to be ok for my finger…I wouldn’t mind a bit more coverage though!

I like this thread!
I experience “shrinkage” way more than I should… Mine is a 2.31 on a size 5 finger, but I think it looks smaller on me than it the same size looks on others. I know that makes no sense logically, but I really feel like on my finger it doesn’t look its size and I should have gone bigger.
My (very good) friend tried it on the other day and when I saw it on her it looked like a massive rock, but somehow I never get that feeling on my own hand.

My 3 stone with a .56 center and .42 side stones is perfect on my size 5 finger. I didn’t think I wanted a 3 stone but when I tried it in the store I didn’t want to take it off. I love the sparkle this photo captured!
