I specifically wanted a stone that was no larger than .5kt. I have tiny hands and anything bigger would have looked very silly. Fiance had to talk me into the stone I ended up getting, I orginally picked a smaller one! For reference:

Mine is a 0.63 on a UK size H 1/2 – I finger. It’s larger than the normal here, which is usually between .33-.50 and I did choose it for its size but if my fiancé wanted to go bigger I’d not say no! Lol here is my beauty with the wedding band I’m planning to buy next month (can’t wait to wear them both in Aug)

FutureMrsRN:  gorgeous set. What is the eternity band you’re planning to get? Something similar to the wedding band to complement either side of your engagement ring or something totally different? It’ll be stunning either way ๐Ÿ™‚

Not sure what % of coverage my 1.09ct gives my 3.5 finger but most of the time I am happy with it. I would not mind a 1.5 but I really don’t think my setting can handle something that big. So maybe a 1.3?

MissMarple:  Thank you. I really do love it, and it is a great size. I don’t think I’ll ever feel the need to remove it for certain situation because it may  seem “too big”, which is nice. But sometimes I see the dramatically proportioned rings on here (because a 2 ct on a size 4 finger is like BAM!) and I’m like “aaaaaaawwww” *pout*. Lol

My stone/ring is much larger than anything I ever thought I would be given. I feel so lucky, and I couldn’t ask for anything more. I think it’s a good size for my finger. It’s 1.44 center stone, size 5 finger.

Engaged in Paris:  I love your wedding ring so much!!! Mind if I ask where you got it? All the mobius rings I looked at seemed so bulky and uncomfortable but yours has this lovely subtle little twist ๐Ÿ™‚

I am getting an upgrade (not exactly replacing my original ering which is in my avatar, just more to rotate/choose from!) and to me it feels HUGE compared to the cute flower cluster I got engaged with. It is a 0.65 cushion moissy, and my ring size is 4.5. I’m practically scared to wear it! It feels positively ostentatious compared to what I’m used to! No joke.

    New ring:
