You will ever stop being a part of WeddingBee? It just dawned on me how short of a time I’ve been on here, and how many posts I have written, and how they have progressed. It first started out with Hello Im a new member, Then TONS of questions about the wedding, and now that it’s been 3 months since the wedding, I’ve been hitting up the baby forum… I can just imagine 30 year from now there will still be people on here writing about weddings, babies, and the ones that are on here now that will be Wives and Parents by that point will be on here posting about children and their children graduting college. Does anyone else think they’ll ever leave WeddingBee?

Well….for me, possibly. As I grow older, my tastes will change. I may grow tired of being on weddingbee and move on to something else.
I’m sure there will be plenty of new brides to take my place, should I make that type of decision.
As for now…..I’m very content with my unhealthy obsession with weddingbee

I can’t really see myself being on weddingbee when I have a family to care for and a job. I think sometimes not only do your tastes change, but life takes over. Not that those of us on here don’t have lives. I mean that we have less idle time and more carting kids here and there, parties for families, obligations that take up our time. whatever

I’m not sure if I would ever go completely away. There might be times when I don’t feel like giving wedding advice but I always love giving relationship advice and I know I will have a lot to talk about on the nesting boards coming up soon.

As much as I love it here (clearly, by my post count), I think that I will leave eventually. Probably not right after the wedding… but not too too long after. I just think my focus will change and I’ll be on to researching whatever the next big project in my life is 🙂

Maybe my view is skewed because I’m a loser and have no life? Haha seriously, I’m home practically all day so I don’t really have enough to keep me busy.

I for one am sure that eventually I may phase out. I’ve been married almost 7 months and have been a part of the bee for over a year now but the only time I am really on the WB is when I am at work. It helps to keep me busy :). When I go home I have some responsibilities so when I am finally done with them, I am exhausted and ready to relax and I don’t even have a baby yet.
When little miss arrives, my participation will definitely be spotty for a little while. I guess we will see though.

We’ll see… I thought I wouldn’t come back after the wedding, and the truth is I am here even more, and even enjoy it more now that the pressure is off.
Also, I’m at the point where I enjoy the nesting boards a lot, and also the relationship stuff – since I use to be a social worker and now I changed careers, so it gives me an outlet to help people in a way! 😉

Yes, I think I will one day leave WeddingBee. Its weird to say it, but I know it’s true. Even if I come back for the baby forums (when Im preggo my eggo) I know I would leave after that. Like another poster said, my tastes will change. I have been on many sites (LiveJournal, MySpace, TeamSugar) that were communities that I went on and wrote on all the time and then after a while I just stop using them. It’s usually because I find something else that I like better. I will realize that I am getting bored with the site and then once I find something that I like even more I will switch to that. I don’t think it’s a bad thing – that way I get to experience lots of different topics and people and questions and comments!
I agree with you that it’s been really interesting to see how I have progressed in the site in such a short period of time. I have been a member for 3 short months and I cant believe i Have over 1000 posts!! Its definitely been a fun time and I look forward to the next however many months on the site!

I doubt I’ll ever totally leave, given the whole Bee thing and all. :p

I know I won’t be on here forever. My views are changing even as I continue planning for my wedding. I’m on WB less and less as a matter of fact.

I think I will eventually leave the Hive when we have a baby. I’m pretty busy now and being on wb to chat is really my only down time in the evening but I have a hard time getting away even now. Can’t imagine trying to be a new mother and be on the internet at nights. But it won’t be for a while so i’m stickin around for now
