(Closed) do you tip for your tattoo ?

I have 12 tattoos and have always tipped.  It isn’t required, but I’ve always loved the outcome and want them to know appreciative I am!

@AndysCraftsNmore:  I always tip, very generously. It’s a customized piece of art that you will have for a lifetime. like some PPs said, it also helps establish a good relationship with an artist.

@HonoraryNerd:  +1. I didn’t tip a guy one time because he worked for himself.

 

i always drop 20% to my guy at the shop though. It gets expensive and sucks but it is what it is.

@AndysCraftsNmore:  I was really worried about trying to get it finished after what happened so I waited 4 or 5 years before I found someone I was completely comfortable with and that I trusted. And there was soooo much scarring on my leg from the first time I didn’t think it could be fixed but I am sooooooo happy I found my tattoo artist and now I refuse to go anywhere else to get a tattoo! I always tipped him $20-25 for my tattoos 🙂
