So, I’m 26 and I’m thinking it might be time to start using an eye cream. My skin is in good shape because I’ve been wearing sunscreen every day since I was probably 12 or 13, but I wear contacts so the skin around my eyes gets stretched every day.
I’ve noticed the tiniest beginnings of creases at the outer corners and I figure that prevention is the best treatment, so now I’m in the market for an eye cream.
I’d rather not spend a fortune- probably $20 or under- but if you use a fancy brand and it’s made you look like you were photoshopped, I want to know!

@vermonster: I use Clinique but only because I had a little tester pot when I bought something on their bonus. I had a make-up lesson and the lady told me as I was 32 at the time to start now and I’ll appreciate the fact in 10 years time.

No eye creams.. but I’ve started using the 35% lactic acid another bee suggested.

I use Murad renewing eye cream

I have been using Alba Green Tea Eye Gel for a while now and I really like it. Plus it’s only like $12 and I buy mine at Walgreens, so it’s easy to restock.

I use Yes to Carrots, you can find them sometimes at discount stores like Ross, Marshalls, etc. They aslo have great sales online.

I only use oil on my face, not cleansers or creams. A lot of people swear by this for wrinkle prevention. Might be worth looking into.

I recently started using the bare essentuals eye cream. Its was expensive, but honestly worked better than I expected it to. I’m twenty seven and have a really stressful job, so I starTed to worry I was looking way too old. After a few months, I think the lines have softened and I feel a lot more “normal” again.

Dermalogica. My skin is super sensitive and it doesn’t bother me at all. Most do 🙂

@Mrs.LemonDrop: Is it the Bare Escentuals Renew & Hydrate eye cream? I am in the same boat as you. I’m 30, but had stressful jobs and tanned (quit over a year ago) so need some “help.”

I’ve heard great things about Shiseido’s (from the Benefiance line, I believe). I personally have no experience with them though!

@MrsNewDay: yep, that’s the one. I used their moisturizer for almost a year before I bought the eye cream too. I definitely noticed a difference using the eye cream in addition to the other. I was like the poster above me, I was super skeptical and felt like eye cream was a bit of a scam. Obviously it’s not a miracle cream, but I’m happy with it.

I use clinique anti gravity firming eye lift cream and clinique repaired laser focus wrinkle correcting cream.
I LOVE the anti gravity cream… I can even feel a slight tingle when I apply it like it’s starting to work it’s magic.
Good results from both creams for me!

No thinking about it though.
