it’s a gorgeous ring, but i definitely wouldn’t want it now that it’s bound to be so popular.

That would just be so weird! I wouldn’t want a celebrity knock-off for my engagement ring. I’d love to have a fake one as a fun cocktail ring, though :).

In one word… no.

Not my style at all!

It’s a beautiful ring, but the appeal is rather gone as it is a knockoff in reaction to the royal wedding mania. Maybe in ten years, haha.

It reminds me of this piece of jewelry:

It’s good to see that those stores that got stuck with loads of “Princess Diana Engagement Rings” that didn’t sell the first time around and can resell them as “Kate Middleton’s Engagement Ring” now! I’m sure that store owners were whooping with glee that they could pull out those warehoused boxes of rings and resell them!

Why do I wonder if these companies went to William and promised him a cut of the profits if he proposed to Kate with Diana’s ring???

I bet those same retailers were wishing that someone would do something to popularize Sarah Ferguson’s ring so they could unload the dusty boxes of those that are still sitting in their warehouses!

I wouldn’t want to copy someone else’s ring. That said, it is a beautiful ring.

I would love it as an accessory, but not an engagement ring. I love the color!

@BanditGirl: I’ve heard you can buy the replica for about 40 bucks.

It’s gorgeous!!! But not my style…I love the classic diamond 🙂

@lilacwire: You can get replica for 40 bucks? Obviously not the real thing! 🙂

$40?  I’m sure they’ll be getting it from some teens who want to pretend they’re a princess to be.  I know the stones are paste but are they at least set in sterling silver?  I couldn’t get the link to work for me!
