I don’t find body waxing to be that painful.  Especially having someone else do it.  But they aren’t going to be able to wax baby fine hairs, which I’m guessing the hair on your back probably is.  Everyone has a little baby fuzz on them, no one is going to notice and think you are wolfman.

I would wax a few times before the wedding so you can figure out how much time your skin needs to recover (sometimes when I go, I have a little redness for a few hours).

A back wax shouldn’t hurt as much as a more sensitive area, like your eyebrows for example. Also in my experience the hair grows back a bit more finely after waxing, so that might help too.

Funny you mentioned this. The other day I shaved one of my arms to see if I liked it better. I do, but its been a week and apparently I’m too lazy to shave the other. Its all fine blonde hair, but I know what you mean. I wouldn’t bother with waxing or shaving.
