Not yet, but FI told me my Christmas present will be a RHR. We have the setting (heirloom) but I need to choose a center stone. 🙂
@linnylou_88: very pretty! I am not engaged yet, but I wil continue to wear my RHR even when I’m married/engaged. My RHR was made by my grandfather in the 40’s and has a very special meaning to me. Its a three stone diamond ring estimated .5 ct total weight
I don’t currently, but I want a right hand stacking set of eternity rings – one ring for my FH/our marriage, and one for each of the two kids we plan to have.
@prettyinpink11: Your ring always makes me swoon!!
@linnylou_88: That ring is beautiful! I do wear RHRs, I have a bunch that I switch around. I am pretty much the only person I know IRL of my age group that does, my friends just wear their wedding sets. If you like it, then rock it, doesn’t matter what others do.
Here is a pic of what is likely to be my regular RHR, diamond solitaire with my original wedding band (yeah, my wwedding ring is a RHR now..lol)
I have quite a few rings I alternate with on my right hand but these are the ones I wear most often. My wedding present.Original engagement ringAnd my birthday present a couple years ago.
I’ve worn the same ring on my right hand since I was about 17. I always wanted a diamond ring (I’m an April baby) so when I saw this beauty I knew it was the one! It’s white gold and rose gold. I’m not sure on the CTW.
my rings are big chunks of natural stones set in silver: labradorite, hawaiian amber, carnelion, etc. I also have a cool swirled design silver ring that’s been my left hand ring during the last 12 years! The e-ring will force it to relocate in a couple weeks!! 🙂 🙂
Yes I do it is my “mothers” ring. The stones are mine, DH and our son’s
i have a lot of rhr. i wear whatever i’m in the mood for and what matches what i am wearing. they are all large coloured gemstones.
My RHR ring is the 1-carat marquise I bought myself after I was dating FH. He is amused by my “I dont need a man” diamond ring (Need a man, NO – but do I want one particular man, YES). TDWT of the ring is 2.50 carats. I have taken it off in preparation of the wedding day, to allow the dent in my finger to reduce as I am not going to wear it and I am thinking of selling it – my e-ring and alot of my other rings are rose gold.
I have so many RHR’s. I have always worn one. I switch out everyday. I don’t have any that are super fancy, although I do have a couple loose gemstones that I want to get into a setting so I can wear those! I try not to wear RHR’s that are too flashy so as not to detract from my engagement ring. I don’t like the look of too many over the top rings.
