Totally random here. However, just had a b-day last week & I turned 35….very ungracefully. I loathe any milestone birthdays & try to ignore they happen.
Anyway, my mom says that at her work they have a saying: “Take off your watch & you’ll look 15 years younger”. Weird?
I am someone who has to wear a watch daily & love shopping for a new one once a year or so, depending on how I feel about the current one.
Right now, I am wearing one very similar to this:
Previously I had a white one almost like it:
About 3 years ago DH bought me a really nice Citizen that I haven’t been wearing because I feel like it looks tiny on my wrist. Maybe once I lose some more weight I’ll go back to it:
So, now I’m ready to start the search for another new watch…even if it ages me.
Any suggestions? I’d ideally like to keep it under $250, but if it’s really worth it & something I’d wear agelessly, I’d spend a bit more.

I just recently got the Michael Kors watch in rose gold and love it! In Canada it was $300 but totally worth it.

I can’t wear a watch since most of them don’t fit my wrist. I just don’t like anything tight fitting on my wrist.

I wear a watch every single day. It is an essential piece for me. I don’t think a watch dates you at all, but maybe the type fo watch might. I just got this for a PhD graduation gift from my dad and it’s what I’m wearing exclusively right now.

I don’t always wear a watch, but this is the one I have (although the band is chocolate brown, not tan) – I probably wear it once or twice a week when I have a long day in classes. I feel like leather is a little younger-looking than the metals.

@FutureMrsCamperlino: I am in love with that watch!

@FutureMrsCamperlino: I have that watch too and I LOVE it. Wear it almost everyday. I lucked out and bought it on my honeymoon on a cruise…no tax and it was cheaper than it sells at Michael Kors or The Bay here.
I have a mild obsession with watches. I also have the same white Fossil one as @soon2bS. My last one is a rose gold boyfriend watch from Fossil as well.
I LOVE watches!!

I’ve been looking for a goldtone watch to wear once i have my yellow gold ering. I really like some of the simple goldtone Kate spade watches recently and the one I’m looking at is like $225. I had one all picked out and then SO offered to let me wear a gold Rolex he won in a poker game and rarely wears. So now I can’t decide if I want my own cute watch or his gorgeous and clunky one.

Bought this one from Anthropologie that I have been sporting. I see it everywhere on Pinterest now, so I’m glad I found it when I did!

@mypinkshoes: my Citizen is eco-drive, and I love that about it also. I really hate that Darling Husband spent so much on it & I never wear it, but it just looks so tiny on my wrist….

I wear a pretty plain steel Citizen Eco Drive with a blue face day to day. I have an old watch of my grandfather’s, too, but it needs a new battery (which is why I bought myself the Citizen as my I-passed-the-bar gift to myself – no batteries).
I’m actually also looking for something a little larger, and with a white or silver face this time. I’d like to stick to Citizens, though, since I know they’re great watches, but just something a little heftier. I might actually go try on some of their smaller men’s watches- they make a sort of in-between size that some places sell as small men’s watches and some places sell as unisex watches, and they’re a nice size for ladies who like a hefty watch.

My dad bought me this one for Christmas a couple of years ago.

I love watches! I wear this one most days, but sometimes I swap it out for a tank watch.
