Does anyone on here wear fake lashes everyday? As part of your normal routine? Not just for the wedding? My lashes are super think and long and most don’t believe they’re mine but I have quite a few friends that wear them all day everyday…why do you wear them or not wear them? Everyday or just to go out? & if you already had nice lashes would you start wearing fakes??? Thx bees!!!

I habe worn them once. For my sister’s wedding. I would wear them on special occasions if I could figure out how to get them on and have them not look stupid. They seem like too much work. I have pretty nice lashes and get compliments without them so I can’t see going through that on a daily basis even if I could figure out how to get them on properly.

@ForeverAndEverAfter: I don’ t and I judge girls that do. There’s absolutely no reason to have them in your everyday makeup routine. Even if you have fine lashes, mascara is enough for day-to-day wear. False lashes should be saved for special occasions.

@frommisstomrs.: I do too. lol. FI’s friend wears full makeup, a weave and fake eyelashes everyday. even out on the boat. lol. It just makes you look like you’re trying too. hard.

@MissHarleyBlue: Exactly! And there’s nothing wrong with putting forth effort, but there comes a point where it’s too much. It reminds me of when girls sometimes wore high heels to high school.

False lashes are part of my daily routine! Definitely don’t think I’m “trying too hard”. I just like how they look.
Then again, I’m a professional makeup artist!

Heck no! I have too much trouble putting them on, so when I do wear them (rarely), my husband puts them on for me.

@ForeverAndEverAfter: My BFF wears them daily. Essentially besides her skincare routine she does not actually wear any “makeup” on a day to day basis. She buys the most natural looking lashes so it looks like they’re the real thing. I keep meaning to have her teach me how to do them right but I haven’t made the time.

No, that’s too big of a pain to put them on daily.
My lashes are pretty thin, and mascara works great. If for some reason I feel like I need a little more lash, I just put a thin layer of powder on my lashes and add another coat.

I would never wear them daily. Love them for events (birthdays, wedding obviously, going out to a big party, etc.) but it’s too much of a hassle for day to day wear and you do lose some real lashes from wearing them often so I wouldn’t like that.
I rely on a trusted routine of several coats of two types of black, non-clumpy mascara and a good eyelash curler. Works wonders.

@ForeverAndEverAfter: If I could afford to have eyelash extensions put on every 3-4 weeks I totally would! I love having them done. When I don’t have eyelash extensions I just wear mascara.

I do on most days. I don’t really see why anyone would care what makeup or similar anyone wears. I have thin lashes and mascara doesn’t make them long or thick enough for me.
I don’t look like Im trying too hard, I look like Im well put together and like my makeup is flawless.

@frommisstomrs.: why do they need to be saved for special occasions? Because they require five seconds to apply? If we used that logic then I guess curling ones hair shouldn’t be done regularly…or maybe lipstick? If someone thinks they look better or if they feel better by putting on lashes or curling their hair or by wearing heels why does it matter to anyone else?

@ForeverAndEverAfter: I would LOVE to, the look is fantastic, and my eyelashes are a little on the wimpy side, but I’ve never mastered putting them on.
