I wore makeup around my SO when we first met, but he told me he prefers a natural look, so I only ware a full face for important occasions/events, or when going out.

If it’s just him and I at home then nope! If we go out somewhere I may throw on a little bit.

If I’m wearing makeup at home, it is only because I happened to be wearing it when I went out that day. I am a very light makeup wearer (I hate feeling like there’s stuff on my face), so the most makeup I ever wear (aside from special events) is mascara, filled-in brows, concealer, pressed powder, blush, and chapstick. Sometimes a tinted lip balm and sometimes I line my upper lash line. That’s my usual makeup routine if we’re going out on a date, but if it’s errands, I might only be wearing mascara. Darling Husband doesn’t notice the difference between my makeup/non-makeup face because I’m usually not wearing any haha.

Oh, and when we were first dating, I would wear a full face all the time!! Even when hanging out on the couch watching a movie! All weather, all conditions, bleh. The first day I decided not to wear any, my DH’s first comment to me that day was “Wow, you look amazing today!” He had no idea, and I was more comfortable and confident than ever before. Started a trend with me!

I love make up and wear decent amount every day..

most of the time at home I dont

BUT occasionally I’ll look in the mirror while I’m home and feel like I don’t feel happy with how I look (like if im tired or sick, etc)…so I’ll start putting a little bit on, like fix my under eye circles, cover up a blemish and just a little mascara… I honestly do it for me though, it’s a pick-me-up on those days where I’m feeling not so hot….

I only wear makeup if I’m going out. I don’t wear makeup when I’m at home. My husband prefers me without makeup anyway.

When we first started dating I’d always wear makeup around him.  Now, haha, not so much.  I’m actually starting to wear less makeup on a daily basis in general.  I have always worn at least eye makeup when I was leaving the house since I was a young teenager.  Recently, though, I’ve found that my eyes are very sensitive and dry, so I stopped wearing eye makeup.  I actually like going without it, now.  I’ll still put on a light foundation and some blush for work or going out, but I don’t wear anything around the house.

He’s lucky if I fully remove my racoon eye make up after my evening bath, ha!

littlebee94:  Darling Husband really dislikes heavy makeup so I never wear a full face (foundation, powder, blush, etc.). I do wear makeup most days though, including at home, usually it’s just a bit of brow fill in (to even things out), a little eyeliner, mascara, and a shimmery neutral eyeshadow. I only wear lipstick if we’re going somwhere.

littlebee94:  I wear some foundation, blush and mascara to work and a heavy face of makeup for dinner/drinks etc.  I am almost always bare faced at home or if I’m just running down to the shops or something, mainly because I feel it’s important for my skin to rest.  I like being able to do myself up for Fi for dates 🙂

Yes, I usually wear a little makeup even if it’s just the two of us at home, I’m not worried about him seeing me without, he always tells me how beautiful I am first thing in the morning with a bare face but I prefer a little bit, it just makes me feel put together.
