@cbgg:  I’ve worn perfume on a daily basis pretty much since I was born. I never knew though what a social menace I am by doing so until I came to the Bee! I wear it because I love it and I want to smell good. Seriously, I had no idea how “controversial” wearing fragrance is nowadays, until I’ve seen multiple threads mentioning it over the last year that I’ve been here.

and let me add that I’m definitely NOT that girl whose perfume arrives 10 minutes before she does. 2 squirts only and ever.

I wear Chanel every day, I only use a couple sprays in the morning. I can’t stand really strong perfumes. Darling Husband loves my perfume and I’ve had random strangers tell me I smell good lol so hopefully it doesn’t bother too many people!

noooooo, it gives me awful headaches or makes me feel sick to my stomach. only thing i use is deodorant and peppermint soap. everyone tells me i always smell like peppermint when they hug me so i guess thats the thing that sticks but its not strong enough i smell it on myself.

I love perfume. I wear it pretty much every time I leave my house.

I only wear it for special occasions and even then only a bit. Like you’d only smell it if you gave me a hug goodbye or something like that. I have to be careful with perfumes as many give me a terrible headache, especially the flowery ones. Drives me nuts when I get hit with a cloud of fragrance when someone walks by!

I go in and out of phases – sometimes I’ll wear it on the regular, sometimes I won’t.  always wear it for special occasions though!  currently I alternate between Burberry (the original), Diptique’s Tam Dao and Marc Jacobs Daisy.  I like to smell nice, but too much perfume gives me a headache.

I wear perfume oil pretty religiously.  The silage isn’t super high, and I prefer things that are close to the body.  Really artifical/chemical scents can give me asthma attacks, so I try to avoid those.  I really love Black Pheonix Alchemy Lab, I’ve been wearing a limited edition of theirs that I stocked up on for a long time called Angeronalia which is mostly gardenia, sweet olive, honey and nectarine.  I try different things from Etsy sellers now and again, and sometimes, I just wear vanilla suspended in jojoba oil.

Fiance likes cologne as well, I buy him Vicomte de Valmont from BPAL, and he also wears Cordovan from Banana Republic, which is nice and very classic on him, it’s warm without being overpowering.  Valmont is a 18th century gentleman’s cologne blend, lots of herbs and vetiver and dark woods, very sexy.

Mostly, I just try to be subdued and to not bathe in anything.  Sticking to oils and more natural perfumes has really helped, and I have never had a complaint.

Patchouli will give me an asthma attack every time as will anything that has it in it. Anything else is fine. I love Burberry Brit And Paloma Picasso,

If I’m leaving the house, I’ll usually spritz on something. I have several, but my favorites are The One, Boyfriend, and Juicy Couture (don’t laugh at me!). Today I’m wearing warm vanilla sugar body splash from Bath & Body Works. I am not a fragrance snob. haha

Mr. LK doesn’t wear cologne, but I love the smell of his shaving stuff. So on days when he shaves, I make sure to get extra cozy.

I like wearing it, but my office is a scent-free workplace – no perfumes or scented products due to allergies.

I wear it every day – I usually rotate between 4-5 perfumes. I have worn Burberry London and dolce & gabbana light blue for years.

I wear the same fragrance everyday, but only one spritz on collarbone area before getting dressed in the morning. I get a ton of strangers asking if I’m wearing Chloe, so it must be very fragrant. It’s become my signature scent since all my sweaters/unwashed clothing have the same lingering scent. I left a basic black scarf at a friend’s Christmas party and she texted me the next day to tell me I had left it behind, and she could tell it was mine from the scent, lol!

I don’t go to any scentfree places on a regular day, but if I’m going to the doctor’s appointment that day, I’ll skip my daily spritz.

I LOOOVE perfume. I wear it whenever I remember. I used to try for every day but workin nights I forget a lot these days lol. I have signature scents though. I only wear Chanel #19 Poudre for everyday and Hermes Osamanthe Yunnan when its just for myself. I want to add Chanel Allure Sensuelle as my sexy going dancing/ special occasion scent. My SO can be sensitive to purfumes so I don’t wear them at home and am careful when we are out together.

Yes, I feel naked without it! I am fascinated by perfumery and have always collected perfumes. I try not to overdo it so as not to piss others off 🙂
