Just wondering. I really want a RHR, but I already wear another ring on my right ring finger that my DH gave to me about 8 years ago. I found this lovely ring online (it’s on sale!), but would have to wear it on my right middle finger.

Does anybody wear it on their right hand, middle finger? Is it awkward/does it get in the way?
Also, please post your RHR you have 🙂

I have always worn rings on my middle fingers up until I received my great grandmothers wedding ring which I wear on my right hand ring finger. I find middle finger rings waaaay comfier. Ring finger rings kind of get in the way of my pinky knuckle but don’t have that problem with the middle finger!
Edited to add pictures…

I find middle finger to be much more comfortable than ring finger! I like the asymmetry to my ering also.
here’s me wearing my FH’s hs class ring on my right hand middle finger:

@SLfairytale: So do you no longer wear it because it would it be weird/rub against the ring on the ring finger?

@bmo88: I wear heirloom rings on my right hand middle and ring fingers. They sit juuuuuust above each other so it’s not uncomfortable, but I’ve also been wearing them since I was 18, so.
Aaand I’m trying to take a good picture, but my phone won’t email it to me. SIGH.

@bmo88: no. I change up my rings so sometimes I only have one on my ring finger, sometimes just one on my middle finger. When I wear two (the gold plated pave band above & my great grandma’s 22kt gold wedding ring) together, I just push the middle one up slightly. They’re both about 2mm so they don’t rub.

I wear my high school class ring there! I want to save my RHR for my college class ring (sapphire). So I would have a chunky, “typical” class ring right next to a more delicate sapphire ring.
I also really want a morganite and rose gold ring, thinking maybe for one of my pointer fingers haha. I love wearing rings, and I am almost always wearing at least 4…

As other PP’s have pointed out, mine sit above each other… right now on my RHR finger I am wearing two bands… a small twisty silver one and a very thin solid gold band, stacked, and they sit below the band from my class ring on my middle finger. It means the middle finger ring kind of sits higher and closer to the knuckle, but it doesn’t bother me at all or restrict motion or anything!

@bmo88: No I just wear my ering and wedding band on my left hand. I have a toddler and am constantly washing my hands, so the less jewelry the better!

And for reference…these are the combinations I wear..

Sorry for taking up so much screen space! :/

@bmo88: I wear a ring on my right middle finger. If I had a RHR ring to wear then I would stop because they would probably rub. Actually I just put my middle finger ring on my left hand and it rubs with my wedding rings and I don’t like it.

I don’t personally wear rings a finger other than my ring one, but I don’t think there’s anything wrong with the look. I used to wear my college ring on my right hand all the time and rotate different rings on my left hand before I got engaged. Now I just wear a different ring each day on my right hand.

@bmo88: I said yes because Fiance originally proposed with a diamond band since he couldn’t get from the airport to the jewelers without me with him (I picked him up that day) so he brought the band with him from MO. It doesn’t match the metal of the ering he had picked out so I won’t use it as a wedding band. I wear it instead on the middle finger on my right hand.
